Lou Lou Eatery and Bar — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

This was my fourth time coming to this restaurant as I think the food is amazing. However, the service is not good. I was the only one there, just like the other 3 times, so you would think it would be manageable for the servers. However, they were all on their phones and not paying attention to me whatsoever, I had to walk up to them to ask for the menu and whilst speaking to the girl she was watching tiktoks, which is rude. The music was incredibly loud which kind of ruins the vibe of the restaurant. The girl was watching tiktoks on full volume so I could hear that as well. When I wanted to pay I was waiting for them to come over, I kept staring at them and even said ‘excuse me’ about 5 times but sadly no answer. Again the girl was on her phone. Lastly, a tip from me: when a customer gets the menu, the server shouldn’t stand next to them waiting for them to decide, instead give them a couple minutes and then come over to get the order. It made me very nervous that the server was just staring at me waiting for me to order. I am fine with paying 10% service fee but not when the service is non-existent!!! I won’t be visiting again because of the service, which is sad because the food is really good. Props...

I visited Lou Lou Eatery and Bar last night, and I have to say, their frozen piña colada is hands down the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness, the coconut was smooth and creamy, and the pineapple flavour was super fresh. There was a hint of something extra—maybe it was a bit of spice or a secret ingredient, but whatever it was, it totally elevated the drink. The vibe at the bar is very chic and laid back, with super stylish decor and great playlists. It’s the perfect spot for a night out with friends or even a date. The bartender was super friendly and the presentation of the cocktails was Instagram-worthy! If you’re a cocktail lover or just someone looking for the best piña colada on the island, do yourself a favor and head to Lou Lou Bar. You won’t regret it! Live music on Friday...

I think the high review score is not reflecting the reality. Or at least not my experience.

The steak I ordered arrived a bit cold and overcooked/dry. The pasta's taste was blunt. However, the extra chicken piece ordered as extra, tasted way better than the steak.

The cocktails felt like they don't have any alcohol in them, which made me ask if they actually served us the mocktail versions.

On top of these, the prices are quite high. I paid the highest bill of my holiday at this restaurant. For much more fair prices I had much more delicious food at the restaurants nearby.

They charge you 3% for paying by card, but they didn't inform me before. It's ok to let people know about the surcharge, maybe they don't want to pay it, and they can chose to pay by cash. This is the customer's decision and right to...
