Mimosa Stars — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Went to Mimosa a couple of weeks ago . I wasn t going to leave a review because it was that bad but a friend convinced me so to warn other customers. I ordered the mix kebab french fries and a nicoise salad .. when I brought the beef to eat it the pungent smell of gone off meat hit my nose like a ton of bricks . It was so strong I nearly was sick on the spot. I called the waiter and made him smell it he didn t have to come close to smell this I can assure you as he stepped back from the meat with disgust. Can you imagine what that meat smelt like raw. How dare a chef cook can serve this tp his customer simply disgusting . When the salad eventually came it looked like that only the old bits were chosen and that it was left for hours on the side before they served it to me so that too was not eaten . Even the waiter agreed that the salad too looked terrible . It was not difficult to see even if you were blind. Total cost 980 baht. So as my stomach was still empty I thought I take a dip in their pool . Oh no I was told this is only for guest. So what was I. I forgot not very much for having been served food not even fit for a dog. I give this place 0 star . When a chef can serve food that can make you seriously ill .the place should be just closed down and a big fine should be given to its owner for allowing this to happen in...

The service? Outstanding! The staff speak English clearly, are so accommodating, and always kind, wearing smiles on their faces from morning until night. I really appreciate how respectful and helpful they are, especially whenever you need something.

Since it’s a beachfront restaurant, the view is perfect, especially when the sun is out. You can go snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming here. The sand is white and fine, adding to the charm.

I highly recommend this restaurant! It’s perfect for relaxation—peaceful and away from the crowds. My parents-in-law even wanted to stay longer. We will definitely come back! ♥️

We came for the happy hour and had 2 drinks. The first was white russian and had a very small amount of vodka in and lots of milk, no kahlua. We asked them to add kahlua (they said they put it in but we could not taste or see it at all, if they did it must have been a tiny amount and not the actual recipe of this drink - it was mainly milk). The second drinks we could not taste any alcohol in AT ALL - tasted like soda water. Definitely won't come again because of this and we told them that. I can see another review from a while ago that said the same - no alcohol in the cocktails. The bar was totally empty during happy hour and I can see the reason for this now (I did wonder why because the pool area and bar is nice). Would not come back here &...
