An excellent, small Thai local restaurant serving great food at very low prices. It is just on the approach to the southern most Samui village of Thong Khrut and can be found on the junction of the main southern road, the 4170, and a well-signposted road 'Santi-Sook 1 Road', it is also opposite a large estate agency called 'Golden Triangle - Koh Samui'. It well worth a visit not least because of the low prices but also because the Thai food is truly excellent, and you always receive a very warm welcome from the owner who speaks reasonable working-English. There is seating for some 14 people on the inside of this very neat and clean restaurant, and there a couple of small tables outside for evening use. The toilet is on the outside of the building. Our favourite local restaurant on the island! Everything is delicious & full of flavour - so cheap starting at 50B for local dishes (pad thai, fried rice, papaya salad). My favourite is the fried papaya salad & the panang curry. Lovely smiling owner & her cute kittens are welcoming...
