My favorite restaurant on the island, and probably some of the best Persian food I've ever eaten. Which is not something I'd expect on a tropical island in Thailand.

๐Ÿ‘ King's Rice is what you really have to try here. It's soooo good and more than enough for two people. Lamb is prepared in a special way, slow cooked, and baked under Persian bread, with a special kind of rice, caramelized onions, vegetables, raisins, Saffron and all other kinds of magical ingredients.

๐Ÿ‘ Lamb Nesar is very good too, if you want lamb but the King's Rice is too much then this is a good option.

๐Ÿ“Chicken Torsh is slow-cooked chicken in butter and milk, with mashed potatoes, raspberry sauce and crushed almonds. I tend to not order chicken at restaurants because I find it a bit boring, but this was fantastic, juicy and flavorful.

๐Ÿฅ— Satipot Salad is fantastic, tastes great, not a boring salad at all, and is quiet a lot. Ideally you order one to share with friends, otherwise it's almost a complete meal already.

๐Ÿน Orange Blossom is a wonderfully scented drink, get one and try it.

๐Ÿฅ› Dough is a traditional Persian drink made from yogurt, similar to the Turkish Ayran, but more complex and refined. Give it a try.

๐Ÿท The montepulciano is a good choice, and at 220 Baht per glass great value for Thailand. (You'd pay more at most places in Bangkok for a wine of equal quality, and considering that this is on an island, it's a very generous price.)

The staff is very friendly, the owner is a Persian woman with a big heart. Pleasant clientele too. The vibe is nice, very chill and relaxed.

Different kinds of seating available: At normal tables, sitting on the floor, or sitting on low pillows. Ambience is wonderful, and you can tell this place is run by someone who really cares about the experience...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Satipot and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food, atmosphere, and service all contributed to a memorable evening.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the grilled chicken, which was simply incredible. It was cooked to perfection, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that left me wanting more. Additionally, the lamb dish was equally superb, showcasing the chef's skill and expertise in preparing high-quality meats.

The restaurant itself exuded a pleasant atmosphere, creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining environment. The attentive service provided by the staff added to the overall positive experience, as they were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.

While I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the restaurant, one small suggestion for improvement would be to have a few fewer tables to enhance privacy during dining. Nonetheless, this minor observation did not overshadow the amazing experience I had.

In conclusion, Satipot delivers an outstanding dining experience with exceptional food and attentive service. I highly recommend visiting this establishment for a memorable...

We went there yesterday and were told we have to leave because they are booked out for the whole evening. We get that, but especially for tourists who are new, this can easily lead into a disappointment, like in our case. Satipot could easily solve that issue if they would extend their opening hours and also offer dishes for lunch, so the place is not overpacked in the evening. While waiting for our food, which we had to take to go, we saw the beautiful interior decoration which gave the restaurant a romantic and chilled vibe. As we are vegan ๐ŸŒฑ, we ordered the vegan Mirza dish. The Mirza itself was nothing special, we found that it was lacking spice. The fresh bread was still warm and really good. For the big amount of Mirza Dip, the three small pieces of bread were not enough to dip or to get full. When we asked for more bread, which we always get for free when we ask for it in other restaurants, they told us it would take 5 minutes (which is fine) and would cost us 80 Bahts - really? ๐Ÿค” It's sad, that they don't offer plantbased joghurt so every guest could enjoy the...

Letโ€™s start with the good things. I love the ambiance. Itโ€™s really comfy and welcoming. Now the bad things. The group of 7 people came at 20.30 (they take reservations either at 18.30 or 20.30), and by then they were already out of their signature dish called Kings rice. When I asked them how, they said that this always happens to them, and that usually people make a reservation of the dish with the table reservation (mind blown), but nobody notified us about this and we didnโ€™t know this was possible. So upon finding out that they were out of their signature dish, I asked what they recommend instead. They recommend chicken which I heard is pretty dry and you should stay away from it. At the end they mentioned some lamb stew and I ordered that. The lamb looked pretty sad and in my opinion overpriced. Thing to note, we waited for the food for one hours and we wanted to cancel our order but they were already preparing it. Begrudgingly we ate it and left the restaurant. They do make good Negronis
