Mordi E Fuggi — Restaurant in Trat Province

My partner and I have been searching all of Asia since we met to find the best pizza. We began our search on our month-long stay in Koh Chang in none-other than Mordi E Fuggi.

Everything about the night was so phenomenal, memorable, beautiful. The vibes were on point, the food: salad, pizza, pasta elegant, to the point, exquisite. Everything, down to the olive oil on the table, whisks you away to a fairy land of Italy in Asia. The pizza crust is just perfectly crispy chewy bread-y yet thin. Every ingredient is fresh and so many imported from Italy.

We are vegetarians and Joe helped us with substitutions on everything we wanted. Joe himself is fabulous, attentive, caring, charismatic and yet so humble.

We came again and again, though we still tried other pizza places, in total failed attempts to find anything matching this level of Italian superiority. My partner would have in fact came to Mordi E Fuggi every day, had I not limited him to pizza only on weekends.

We have come easily to the conclusion this pizza pasta tiramisu is the best on the island, and not only so—the best in Asia we have thus far tried. And we cannot recommend enough to all friends and strangers...

A must Italian restaurant in Koh Chang. The best one I’ve ever tried. It’s located in Kai bae walking street. Parking lots is shared with nearby restaurant with 20thb for motorbike and 50thb for car (150m away from the restaurant, the landmark is very tall beautiful tree).

🥗 Goat cheese salad 10/10 : Vegs, fruits, olives and tomatoes are refreshing. The highlight is the the bellow goat cheese

🥟Duck Ravioli 10/10 : Duck’s meat tenderness is 💯melting in your mouth

🍝Pappardelle Cacio e pepe 100/10 : as a fan of cacio e pepe, I’ve found the best one here. Shredded cheese is so satisfying.

🍕 Salmon Pizza 10/10 : pizza crust is so crunchy full of salmon and cheese.

🍮 Tiramisu 9.9/10

The atmosphere is so homey. The Italian owner even serves by his own and ask if the foods is okay. It’s funny how when I call him about the parking lot, I speak Thai and he answers me in English and I speak English and he answers me in Thai. He’s so willing...

Mordi E Fuggi is an absolute gem! A wonderful place with an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home — only more delicious and vibrant!

The duck ravioli and beef cheek ravioli are simply out of this world! Such a delicate taste, perfectly cooked pasta, rich fillings, and incredible sauces — everything is top-level! This isn’t just food — it’s love at first bite!

Huge thanks to the owner — a true legend! He welcomed us warmly, explained everything, gave great recommendations, and paid attention to every detail. You can feel that he truly cares about what he does. Everything was on point, professional, and from the heart.

Service — 10/10. Food — 11/10. Mood — all night long! Highly recommend to anyone who wants not just to eat, but to fully enjoy every moment.
