Kao Piak Sien is my absolute go-to spot in Udon Thani for authentic Vietnamese food! I’ve been here several times, worked my way through most of the menu, and I can confidently say every single dish has been superb. The flavors are rich and vibrant, and the freshness of the ingredients really shines through in every bite.

Well, as a tourist i have a problem with their service. I asked for their coffee and would like to know more about their special coffee. To my surprise, the waiter point at the picture and just said, yeah look at the picture, “its like this, its like this in the picture”. I am sure that i can look at the menu and understand how the picture looks like. Insisting on how the picture looks like at the menu does not change my initial question on the coffee. Explaining more about your coffee would be the right way to answer my enquiries. The conversation was not done in english by the way. Food is pretty good here. Gotta add a bunch of things to spice it up, but that's normal for khao piek (banh canh in Vietnamese). The staff was really nice, they've got a decent selection of food not just noodle soup. they had a wide variety of drinks to choose from as well. I'd definitely visit again.
