The Good Days Cafe — Restaurant in Udon Thani Province

This is a welcome addition to the busy night life area of UdonThani. A very pleasant Cafe with an interesting menu in addition. An air-con inside seating area for about 16 together with a slightly larger covered area outside. Everything looks clean and tidy including the kitchen and drinks areas that are in plain view. The decor is particularly interesting, mixing old and new items to produce a pleasant, relaxed surrounding. The menu is not too large but covers international and Thai/Chinese dishes. It is written in English and Thai and lists some very nice items. The coffee is good and various cakes and pastries are on display for selection. My food ( a pork chop with apple sauce and a steak with pepper sauce ) was produced in reasonable time and was beautifully presented. The Good Days Cafe in Udon Thani is a total gem! I stayed at this hotel for my first night in the city and it blew me away. The whole place has this super cool mix of vintage and modern design, which I absolutely loved. The cafe itself has such a warm and inviting atmosphere – the perfect spot to start your day with a delicious breakfast. I visited during Christmas week, and the weather was so cozy. A lovely little cafe with an air conditioned indoor area, a covered terrace and some street tables. Pleasant European radio playing in the background and some charming antique touches add to the ambience. The set farang breakfast at 140 Baht was filling and the bacon and scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked. Buttered toast is included as are beans, ham and mushrooms but the hot dog style sausage might not suit all farang tastes. The eggs Benedict was delicious with perfect runny egg yolks.
