A new place in Gachibowli which has a well set up fine dine restaurant in Bangalore is serving a wide spread buffet in Hyderabad too.Situated right next to Gachibowli flyover, this restaurant is a perfect one to dine with family or friends. With its pretty interiors and colourful tables , this restaurant is a pleasant one !This place has only indoor seating with a centrally located metal framed globe with a cute desert counter around it.I’ve been to this place with a group of foodie friends of mine for lunch and had good experience. The staff at this place are friendly and courteous. The buffet includes vegetarian and non vegetarian food with live counters for customised chaat, Italian food and pancakes! Food : Mocktails : Pacific blue and virgin mojito were the two mocktails served to us and both of them had a refreshing flavour and also looked appealing. Pacific blue was the mocktail which I personally liked and would suggest to order ! Dahi puri: This crispy dahi filled puri gave us a burst of flavour as soon as we took a bite.It was beautifully presented and looked mouthwatering. This was a delicious one and was a kick start to the meal ! Tandoori gulistan: The broccoli florets marinated with yogurt and spices were a delicious appetiser in the buffet. The broccoli had a distinct aroma and was flavourful. Sufiyana paneer tikka: The cubes of paneer were perfectly marinated with spices and were grilled to perfection. This was a delicious appetiser and was presented is a appealing way .This is a must try at this place. Crispy salt and pepper corn: The crispy corn was colourful and was mouthwatering to look at .The corn had good amount of spices and was a perfect munching dish at this place. Cajun spice potato : The most beautifully presented dish at this place is Cajun spice potato. Baby potato’s cooked to perfection were delicious in Cajun spiced marination . This is a must try dish ! Prawns in hot basil sauce: A perfect combination of basil and prawns was a bit spicy but had a terrific flavour. The dish had good aroma and the prawns were cooked well . Mutton sheek kebab: There is an excitement always when we hear of this meaty miracle that is bound to make every foodie drool. It was well presented and was delicious! The sheek kebabs were soft and juicy !This is must try at this place! Review highlights: 1. FLIES on salads 2. Decent non veg starters 3. Passable veg startes 4. Good service 5. Great ambiance After searching for quite some time for a new buffet in this price range, we decided to visit The Globe Grub, thanks to the rave reviews. Was here for a Saturday lunch and made a reservation thinking it would be packed. Surprisingly, not even a quarter of the restaurant was occupied. Ambiance is good - Bright, spacious and comfortable seating. Service was quick. Starters came to our table in no time. The non veg starters were quite good with the highlight being the tangdi kebab. Steamed fish in mustard sauce wrapped in banana leaf was slimy and lacked any texture. Prawns in basil sauce, mutton sheek kebab and chicken drumsticks were decent. For the vegetarians, nothing really shined. Everything but the crispy corn was just about passable. While their menu promised a tandoori broccoli, we were told that it had been replaced by hara bhara kebab (which was pathetic too) owing to bad quality of broccoli. We were served pizza slices on our table and they were pretty good. Good amounts of toppings and cheese. The live pasta counter was also impressive. The dimsum station was a fail because the dumplings were over steamed and their skin almost disintegrated. Upon request, we were given 6 brand new uncooked dumpling (may be because we said the earlier ones are overcooked). Things slowly started to slide South from now. We took a walk to the mains and voila! FLIES on the salad! Most of the mains were dry and mostly empty. Soiled plates were left near the mains stations which made the experience very unpleasant. The biryani was super dry and we requested the chef to give us a fresh bowl, which he did. It was moist and flavorful. Dal makhani was great. Butter chicken was slightly sweet but well executed. By now, we'd given up hope for dessert and we were not wrong in doing so. Same as the mains, most were empty and not one stood out. Verdict: At 900 rupees, there are far better buffets in the area (sahibs bbq, indigrill).

A widespread buffet spot but does this stand out from the regular ones? TL:DR - Well, it does on the whole. For soups, they had one veg and one NV. The chicken mushroom soup was coarse (why is it the same everywhere?) while the coriander soup was similar to a lemon rasam. Not bad for a start. 😊 For starters the following were standouts. Crispy corn with pepper was different since it wasn't the same old-school style with Indian chili. 👍 Cajun Spiced potato was very saucy from the peri-peri flavors; Badami Tandoori veg was something new which was tossed on the white sauce and both fresh and crunchy But the best part as always is the honey chili pineapple, OH SO GOOD!!! 👏 Mutton seekh was regular-sized but minced very well; veg starters stood out from the rest. 🙌 Their floor is so big that by the time we walked across to grab the main course there was a queue waiting to try out one by one. Live counters for chat and Teppanyaki items are a hit here. 😘 We were spoilt for choices since every one of the rice and gravy varieties looked appetizing. 😁 We quickly jumped to the desserts since that queue was shorter than the others. Gulab Jamun with ice cream is a must try; their cupcakes and moose were so sweet that we felt OKAY WE'RE DONE HERE!! 👌 Table booking is recommended while there is no problem with their parking or service. They're considerate to match the spice requirements for all the starters. A very well-lit and beautifully decorated place with a huge seating space. But on the price front, we weren't able to do justice to their price tag since we were full in no time.

After a successful run in Bangalore, The Globe Grub is now in Hyderabad. This fine dine restaurant is located right next to the Gachibowli flyover. This fine place specializes in buffet and has an amazing spread of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies. More then that, its interiors are something that just needs to be appreciated. It gives you a very upmarket feel with nice wood work and creative lighting. Some of the things that we tried includes: Veg Pizza: This was on par with the ones at other places. Honey Mustard Potato Salad: This alternative to traditional salad was healthy, tangy and delish. Paneer Tikka: One of the finest paneer tikkas I had. The paneer was well marinated and extremely soft. It tends to melt in your mouth as soon as you take a bite. Crispy Fried Sweet Corn: This is great past time snack when you are looking to spend time with friends and family. Vegetarian Biryani: The biryani could have been better as it lacked the necessary flavor. Apart from this, this place has live counters for pani puri, chaat, pancakes, pasta and noodles which are all a must try. For me, the desserts were the highlight of this place. Not only you are spoilt for choice, but also each one of them tasted amazing. They have everything from cheesecake, chocolate brownie, rasgulla, gulab jamun, cupcakes and pastries. This place truly scored above my expectations. Surely a must visit place for the amazing interiors, good food and excellent service.
