The dining experience at 63 Degrees Buffet was a remarkable culinary journey, offering an impressive spread of dishes that cater to all kinds of tastes and preferences. My visit was particularly exciting as it coincided with their special Kebab and Biryani Festival, which added a unique and festive touch to the experience.
The Highlights
The buffet featured a wide variety of options, ranging from appetizers to main courses and desserts, ensuring that no guest left unsatisfied. The kebabs were exceptional, cooked to perfection with rich flavors and a variety of marinades that offered something for everyone. Whether you prefer spicy, tangy, or mild, the kebab section had it all.
The desserts stole the spotlight, with an assortment of traditional and international sweets that left a lasting impression. The creativity and attention to detail in the dessert presentation were unmatched, making it a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
Room for Improvement
While most of the dishes were top-notch, the biryani fell slightly short of expectations. Though aromatic and visually appealing, the flavors could use some enhancement to bring out the authentic richness that biryani lovers look forward to. Improving the balance of spices and texture would make it a standout dish in the buffet.
Ambiance and Service
The ambiance at 63 Degrees was warm, modern, and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed dining experience. The restaurant’s decor reflected a mix of sophistication and comfort, enhancing the overall vibe.
The staff was attentive and courteous, always ready to assist with a smile. They ensured that plates were cleared promptly, drinks were refilled, and guests were comfortable throughout their visit. The service was seamless, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Final Thoughts
63 Degrees Buffet is an excellent choice for food enthusiasts who appreciate variety, quality, and a welcoming atmosphere. The Kebab and Biryani Festival was a treat, showcasing the restaurant's ability to host thematic culinary experiences that stand out.
With a slight improvement to the biryani, this buffet could easily reach perfection. It's a place I would highly recommend for family gatherings, celebrations, or even casual meals with friends. Definitely worth...
Read moreVisited on a Friday afternoon. The place has a huge space to accommodate a lot of people at once. Given the Friday lunch there were quite a few corporate teams visiting. As we were visiting as a team ourselves, we had reserved a table earlier and so it was easy to get accommodated. Now coming to the food, some of us chose a Non-Veg buffet and some Veg buffet. Strangely the Non-veg folks had only one option for soup and that was crab soup. Even if they rotate the menu, I'm not sure if it's fair to assume everyone will like seafood soup. A meat based soup was missing. Veg folks had two soup options. As I don't prefer crabs, went with the mushroom cappuccino veg soup. To my disappointment it tasted worse than the typical knorr soup. It lacked both punch and flavors of a restaurant made soup. Coming to starters, it was a disappointment again to see most of the chicken dishes lacked taste today and all of them were with bones. The saving grace in Non-Veg were the prawns and ghee mutton. Even then the dishes were cold as the servers carry them around in plates in the AC environment. The second serving of prawns were cold and it hurt my jaw while biting and the mutton though good in flavors, lacked adequate salt. All Non-Veg folks had to do good with Veg starters which tasted better, except for Bangla Paneer which tasted acidic due to excessive masala. The iconic Apollo fish dish as we know is a dry starter but it was customised to be a wet one and it certainly failed. The good ones were tawa prawns which came slightly warm, corns and chilli paneer. The chicken from the live counter was boneless and thankfully had a slight flavor but the fish tasted so bland and bad. Thankfully the main course gravies were better. The butter chicken was soft and had good taste. Even the mutton gravy was good and paired well with garlic naan. But the standout was the rajugari pulao which was fantastic. The desserts section had quite a few dishes but as I'm not much into desserts, just tried the jalebi and coconut laddu. Both were yumm. Overall, though the service and variety were good, I am not satisfied with the taste of starters served for Non-Veg. Veg dishes tasted better. The main course items were better, especially the pulao and butter chicken. Price: Veg - 1250,...
Read moreI will try to stick on to the above the parameters only i.e Food, Service and Atmosphere only. Went there with average expectations on the occasion of birthday and very disappointed though. Taken 4 Non Veg and 2 Veg in group of 6 adults.
Food : It's just below average. Veg starters like soya chaap were cold and non veg starters are cold and tastes very very average. you have to take few starters on your own from the serving area but I guess most of the hot plates are not working. Also they don't refill the main course leave starters after 10 PM and despite repeated request to refill Pineapple, Lasagna and Veg Palak Kofta, No Success. Overall very very average.
Service : is -1, servers never bothered to ask for 2nd round of starters and busy chatting among themselves. They were in plenty but no server seems to bother to check on us. Same lines we will take care and no results. The cook on the Pasta and Pizza counter was most pathetic , I asked him for 2 Pizza and a plate of Pasta and after 30 odd minutes and great reluctance he kept 2 bases in the oven and asked me to come after 5 minutes and still with no results, it felt to me like I was in some government office. Shame. Service is shameful and no refill in Veg main course.
Atmosphere : is 0 as AC duct is leaking on my shoulder and I didn't want to change the table either as I wanted to get out of the place ASAP. Lighting is very average and siting is okay. Cleanliness is just ok. Plates are ceramic but not cleaned well few spots here and there. Parking is valet and ok.
Overall : Not up to the mark and on top 1 member got stomach upset after eating the veg...
