Belated review for visit on Sunday 19th May. Have been to this Wetherspoons many times in the past. First time I've reviewed. A good sized branch right next to Baker Street Station and not too far from Madame Tussauds. This this branch usually attracts a large tourist and football crowd. Although the pub was not too busy during this visit. I ordered the 11" Ham and Mushroom Pizza and a pint of Strongbow Dark Fruits. Total cost was £12.85. The pint arrived a couple of minutes after ordering and the pizza just over 10 minutes. I must say I was impressed with the pizza, well topped and it was one of the neatest presented Wetherspoons Pizzas I've had (see image). No complaints with quality or temperature. Both were spot on. The only downside was some of the bar staff seemed a little bit rude and uninterested. Hence why this pub has been rated three stars. Although Wetherspoons in Zone 1 Central London are more expensive than most other branches, they are still better value for money compared to other pubs/restaurants in Central London. Therefore, I do recommend this branch if you are in the area and want food and drink that doesn't make too much of a dent in your wallet.

I recently visited The Metropolitan Bar, in London, and it was an absolutely great experience! The highlight of the meal was the classic fish and chips—perfectly crispy batter, fresh fish, and a generous portion that truly satisfied. This dish alone is worth the visit! The selection of ales and beers was impressive, offering something for every taste. From rich, full-bodied ales to crisp lagers, the variety made it easy to find a favorite [Guinness served at the perfect temp° and the proper way]. And at prices that are easily the best in London, it’s hard to beat the value you get here compared to other pubs in the city. What really stood out was the top-notch service. The staff were friendly, efficient, and attentive, ensuring every need was met promptly despite the busy atmosphere. If you’re looking for a great place to enjoy excellent food, a fantastic drink selection, and unbeatable prices with service to match, The Metropolitan Bar should be at the top of your list. Highly recommend!

I always enjoy a visit to Wetherspoons – you know exactly what you’re getting, and it never disappoints. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for food and drinks, making it one of the best value-for-money pubs around. This one was extra special. The menu had a great selection, from classic pub grub to lighter bites, and the quality is surprisingly good for the price. Whether it’s a full English breakfast, a curry club special, or just a few pints with friends, there’s always something to suit the occasion. The drinks selection is also impressive, with a great range of real ales, lagers, spirits, and cocktails, often cheaper than anywhere else in town especially in London Would 100 percent come back amazing staff and service. Best Wetherspoons I’ve ever visited

An excellent example of Weatherspoons. Unassuming exterior opens up to a large pillared Hall with the bar along one side and booths and windows along the other. Depending red, antique gold and white colour scheme adds to the grandeur of the place. No background music just the sound of voices. The food and drink selection is as you'd expect (check on line if you're not familiar with Weatherspoons) and prices are very reasonable for this area of London. There's no outside seating, but it's not gloomy dark inside. Excellent staff and quick service. The ladies' toilets are fabulous with excellent views out onto the road. Everything is clean and pretty well kept. My new favourite London Weatherspoons.

Although this Wetherspoons pub might not have the same amazing low prices as their other pubs round the country, it does have a great interior and a sense of history throughout. Plenty of seating in both the main dining area and a few smaller sections mean it’s a good place for both couples and larger groups. Service from the large bar is a little slower than I’d hoped and the number of empty glasses across all the tables suggests they’re in desperate need of additional staff, and the tables could do with closer attention in terms of keeping them clean. However, it’s a nice spot to escape the noise and bustle of the street outside and if you’re a fan of what the chain offers then you’ll like it.

If you're looking for a place that won’t break the bank, this pub delivers with its fantastic deals on food and drinks. The cocktail selection is decent, and you can enjoy a night out without feeling guilty about your wallet—most drinks are very reasonably priced. The pizza is average, around a 6 or 7 out of 10. While it’s not the highlight of the menu, it’s still a solid choice for the price. On the other hand, the chicken was tasty, though it didn't pack the spicy punch promised on the menu. Overall, this pub is a decent spot that offers great value for money. Whether you’re there for drinks with friends or a casual meal, it’s worth checking out!
