Flat Iron Marylebone is really the most surprising one in my recent dining experience. The restaurant has a comfortable and high-quality environment. From the moment you step in, you can feel a warm and friendly atmosphere. The quality of the steak is quite excellent. The meat is tender and juicy, and the degree of doneness is just right. With every bite, you can taste the rich meaty aroma and the just-right seasoning, which makes you can't help but savor it slowly. The side dishes served are also very well thought out. Whether it's the taste or the presentation, they all make the overall dining experience more complete.
It is particularly worth mentioning the bartender of the restaurant, Kasim. Not only does he have excellent professional skills (I didn't taste the cocktails he made, but I felt he was very professional), but more importantly, his service attitude is extremely sincere. Kasim gives people a very warm and friendly impression. Every word he communicates with conveys his passion and dedication to his work. He doesn't merely offer service; instead, with his professionalism and smile, he creates a pleasant and unforgettable dining experience for me. This sincere attitude towards guests makes it easy for people to relax and simply enjoy the delicious food here.
Overall, I was very satisfied with this dining experience. Whether it's the quality of the steak, the atmosphere of the restaurant, or the considerate service provided by Kasim, all make me feel that it's worth more than its price. This is a great restaurant that is worth visiting repeatedly and also worth recommending to friends. If there is a chance, I hope to visit this place every time I go to London for a trip, especially the...
Read moreEmbarking on a culinary journey at Flat Iron Marylebone with David and his team proved to be a tale of extraordinary and heartwarming moments that shattered all my expectations! Choosing to celebrate our wedding at the very spot where our love story began, eight years ago at Flat Iron in Soho, was just the beginning.
Opting for the Flat Iron near our The Old Melbourne town hall ceremony turned out to be the best decision, setting the stage for an exceptional experience.
From the first step through the door, where David and our waiter greeted us warmly, to the moment they learned about our recent nuptials, their genuine interest wove a special thread into our celebration. A surprise bouquet for my wife heightened the joy to an unforgettable level.
Exceptional service and food beyond imagination unfolded, with each dish surpassing our wildest expectations – the bone marrow mash being a standout masterpiece. David and his team orchestrated a flawless experience, and the surprises kept coming, each one more delightful than the last, etching our celebration into the realm of pure magic.
The Flat Iron team's sincere interest in our story, coupled with a sweet finale of unforgettable ice cream, left us absolutely delighted. If there were more stars, they would undoubtedly earn them. Here's to hoping the Flat Iron head office acknowledges and rewards David and his outstanding team for crafting a dining experience that is not just joyful but downright incredible!
Prepare for an absolute treat, visiting Flat Iron is a thrilling experience awaiting anyone who walks through...
Read moreDidn’t enjoy it here at all. As soon as when you walk in it has that stinky butcher smell. I thought okay no worries it’s a steak restaurant, it’s obviously going to have some sort of smell. But honestly that already put me off to begin with. Service was great, however the food itself wasn’t great. The steak was tiny, chewy and just plain. No flavouring. The portion sizes are ridiculous. The wagyu steak was nice but I think M&S has a way cheaper wagyu steak option and much larger in size, more delicious and way better quality. Honestly, this place is a rip off, the food looks somewhat decently priced on the menu, but then you actually receive them and realise why they are priced like that. Eg; the mac n cheese was enough for a small child, but priced at £4 you think oh great price, but it’s not. The chips were really bad too. Overcooked, tiny portion. Even the sauces were tiny!
Would I go again? Absolutely not. They’re even stingy with the portion of the ‘free’ soft serve ice cream… they don’t even do that properly.
Also to add, I know the restaurant theme is to serve the steak on the ‘wood chopping board’ etc, but it felt so unhygienic. I highly doubt they sit there and sanitise each board with the correct cleaning method of how to clean a wooden board, but mine looked dirty and had loads of little bits in and around the edges… it was just off putting.
We left the restaurant feeling hungry after spending £65, we really felt that it was a waste of hard earned money and...
