If you want to host an event with strong local, next-to-de-pan-yard-and-soup-man vibes that’s literally in Port-of-Spain, yet tucked away from the city-ness of it all, where do you go?… Calabash Garden off Tragarete Road of course! It will def shake away those stuffy corporate / commercial cobweb vibes more established venues have. From the moment you land on the pavement the mystery of its location piques the excitement of the invitation ahead. Finding its back-a-yard home between two buildings, guests enter a short paved alley to emerge into a spacious patio garden with tropical tikki bars and decked areas. Depending on the time of year - or climate change 🥵- temperatures will always be the issue with outdoor parties. but nothing an outdoor fan or four can’t fix! If you want to host a good Trini lime, in the heart of POS this is the place!
