Not knowing the protocol I walked straight in and was told by a server to wait at the entrance - he didn't soften his tone or act in any way as if he thought it was an honest mistake. If they put signage, people wouldn't just walk in - so they should expect people to walk in and have a better attitude in correcting that action. Maybe it's just me. Other than that initial experience, it was decent - except I cannot really eat much there - all grains and sugar or stuff with mystery ingredients the servers are not able to disclose because they do not know. I like to know what's in my food so those things are just not for me. The server who attended to me was attentive and pleasant but the food was a bit slow in coming. I'm so glad I ordered it at the same time as the drink. When the food eventually came it was decent - and satisfying. I ordered a caesar salad minus croutons with grilled chicken breast strips as my extra cooked without black pepper. Hard to mess up that combo so it tasted pretty good. If you're looking for a different experience every now and then - why not - just beware the sweetened drinks and the limited food selection. Difficult to get something without sugar (even when you tell them, you do not want something sweet) when they forget to tell you they put sugar on the rims of their glasses too. At least they were generous with the napkins so I could wipe said sugar off the glass rim. If those things don't bother you, you will enjoy the place. Just don't walk in dry so, like I did, without having someone lead...
Read moreVisited here around 9:45. It took us 15 minutes to get noticed at the front of the restuarant before asking if we needed to be seated, bearing in mind the place was not packed nor crowded at all. Once my family and I were seated it was a very long wait before the order could be placed. Our waiter was just walking up and down past our table without a care or interest to serve us. After waiting till around 20 past 10 we finally put in our order hoping that it would be ready quickly because the restaurant closes at 11pm. Whilst waiting for the food and I mean waiting, our waiter brought our drinks seconds before our meal came and right where we was seated, she began and argument with another co-worker about her tips/money for the night. Apparently they didnt care that customer were right infront of them in plain sight and could hear every single thing being said. This was pretty disturbing as it was already a long wait to get in and order and then have to bear the brunt of our waiters anger due to her falling out with a co-worker. Couldn't you guys wait until the place was closed? Couldn't you at least serve the people waiting. Anyways it was a hussle to eat our food and leave there. As our food was delivered the workers already began cleaning up and closing up. I am pretty sure I wont have the patience to come back to this TGI Fridays anytime in the...
Read more2024 update: while the service was still good, the food was just okay. The boneless wings were not seasoned and just dunked in sauce. The ribs were tender but the sauce was not that tasty. I was appalled that you cannot change side orders. If cost is a factor then they either need to charge a few extra dollars for changes or sell meat and sides separately. Many of the meals include rice when I would have preferred fries or mashed potatoes. I absolutely do not like Cole slaw but could not swap it for a side salad which is utterly ridiculous seeing as every other resturant would happily do it. Some people do not eat fries, or cannot eat rice for various reasons I am avoiding this establishment.
The food and drink menus give a lot of options. The drinks are quite good.
Our waitress was friendly, but on a busy Friday evening I had to flag someone down a few times to order more drinks, which is understandable.
A few years ago I would not have considered eating here at all, but both the service and the food have improved...
