Currently sitting outside #JavaNationtt and I'm wondering what's the hype about. Yeah, I'm new to this game but outside of a GOOD coffee, what gives? Upon arrival, I note that it's a SMALL location with no in-house seating, but you can sit outside and listen to(and smell) the passing cars and sometimes a parrot flying past. This is a turn off to me.
PROS: i)Decent coffee(this is my first time here and I rate each location on a cup of cappuccino). ii)Cold sandwiches are available to go. Hot bagels are on order but there's a 30-minute wait time. π³π³π³ iii)Parking is available as they're housed at the NIB building. iv)A plus for those working or living on the eastern side of the QP Savannah. v)I love the coffee covers, the heart stopper WIN, lol. Maybe that's the cause of the price point. π€·π½ββοΈ
CONS: i) Outside of those living or working close by, it's quite remote. ii)Nothing but coffee/teas and some light eats. iii)No inside seating and don't try to sit outside, unless you like to lime close to the roadway, which is usually has heavy traffic. iv) The surrounding merchandise is certainly a turn-off, makes me feel I'm in a parlour. v) Price point is high, Cappa...
Β Β Β Read moreI was looking forward to trying this place as I saw their wide variety. I got the caramel coconut and fire tiger. They had no tapioca pearls which was disappointing as they advertise their boba teas all the time and have so much boba related stuff in their store. The cashier recommended lychee jelly instead and then a "yogurt pearl" which I assumed was similar to boba. It was not and was popping boba which was far from what I expected and made the drink so much sweeter than it already was.
The drinks tasted horrible and just so artificial. Both drinks tasted the same, they both tasted like the artificial caramel syrup. The drinks tasted like pure sugar and was unbearable to drink, paired with the artificial taste. I do not reccomend this place, poor quality and overpriced. Much better places like Kyu ramen, which has the best taste and variety of boba of all the places...
Β Β Β Read moreOrdered a grande drink only to be told they only offer the king version which is $45 when the grande option is still listed on their menu and on the counter where sizes are compared. Waited 10 minutes in an empty restaurant for a simple drink that usually takes 3 minutes to be prepared. The drink was much paler than usual which is strange as itβs a black tea based drink. There was just one blob of overcooked yet undercooked boba at the bottom, texture of melted jello with a raisin in the center....
