Wonderful workout experience, especially early mornings. You can smell the trees as you walk or run. The path inclines on occasion, so it adds to your workout difficulty, which is great for pushing your heart just a little more than a walk around the Savannah. There is a measure of privacy as you workout, so you are more inclined to stop and get in a few body weight exercises as well. You are in the capital city, but the noise and smoke from the cars are not as intruding as walking the Savannah, which is a plus for your lungs. There are cabañas for picnicking or even for personal workout sessions and the grass is always well taken care of. There is a green house within, but I am not sure if visitors are allowed to enter. There are two sets of bathrooms, each with seperate gender stalls. Great place to bring young kids to run, older ones to read and to take a comfortable walk. 1 full lap is just...

I'm sure we have all visited the Botanical Gardens.. but have you ever seen The Rainbow Eucalyptus? This is like nature's vibrant work of art! Its smooth, orange-tinted bark peels away to reveal a stunning array of colors—orange, gray, and purplish-brown—making it look like the tree’s wearing its own masterpiece. And let’s talk about its height: this tree towers majestically, with its long, tapering trunk stretching all the way up to the sky—truly a sight to behold. But this tree isn’t just about looks! Its leaves are packed with antiseptic properties, making them great for treating wounds. Plus, brew them into a tea and they help soothe asthma and coughs. Oh, and here’s the best part: the Rainbow Eucalyptus naturally repels mosquitoes. As someone with O+ blood (and an apparent magnet for mosquitoes), I couldn’t appreciate this more—goodbye, itchy...

We visited at night during the Christmas season, it was beautifully lit up to the bridge laying in directions from east to west but beyond the bridge was in pure darkness so no one ventured. The high point for me however was that I needed to use a washroom which I spotted on entering the grounds and to my absolute pleasure the ladies was clean and well equipt with toilet paper, soap and water at that hour. Tissue was missing but that place was clean enough to sit and have a meal so I'll forgive the missing tissue. Well done Botanic Gardens P. O. S., Well done. Keep it up though guys cause only in well kept private entities have I ever seen comparatively clean...
