It's been a lil while I've visited a breakfast location and I don't want to leave. Yes #RileysOnTheAvenue, you take the prize! I've been meaning to pass here(yes, I'm writing as I sit here) for some time and I finally made it. Boy am I happy I did. From the wonderful foliage that greets you at the front to the simple seating that you choose from which is visually appealing in all directions. This is definitely a family space as well, in fact I was told that Sundays are most times packed out when the post church service crowd take over. I can understand why. Now you notice I didn't talk about the food as yet. I ordered the local platter, which offers saltfish, smoked herring, tomato choke, fried plantain and coconut bake. Everything was wonderful, the choke was my highlight, tangy and sweet, creating a lovely accent against the fish dishes. The coconut bake served with fresh grill marks together with 2 pats of butter gave the plate a hotel finish, I must complement the chef for his eye of professionalism, something we don't really see out the hotel circuit. The coffee was good, I'm told that its Riley's blend of beans and it was nice, but today the plate won. As I sit here people are coming in to either collect their orders or dine in like me, I'm can see all are not 1st time customers, me alone, lol. Ok, I'm leaving now and I can say that I will be returning and it would be soon, with the family. This is one location that I will return with the fam. Now you can dine in as I started before or you can call or WhatsApp them at 279/4484 for pick up orders. Go check it out and tell me what you think, I'm quite sure you will agree. #FoodieRunTTApproved with confidence. Coffee: 4/5 Customer Service: 5/5 Price point:...

It was a great experience all around. We went without reservations and were seated within 5mins. However I recommend making reservations because it's a really intimate atmosphere. Loved the incorporation of plants in the decor. The coffee was good, I would have preferred regular local sugar but the packets are fine. The hot chocolate was divine, though the serving size was small. The service was quick and pleasant and the meals had great portions. Had the local platter, with salt fish and smoke herring and I couldn't finish it all! We did ask for more coconut bake to go because it was so good.

All in all a great experience, just took off a star because the space was so small, I had to manuvere my lil bum to get out my chair and not hit anyone. I expect growth very soon! Will return to try different items...

Waited over an hour for our food because there was a bigger party and we weren't as important. We felt we were treated as second class and did not belong there. Air conditioner broke down 5 minutes in but we stayed anyway to give the place a chance.

Decided to get our order to go but that still took close to a half hour because the order got sent to the bigger party accidentally. Food was fair to fine but not worth the uncomfortable overly long wait. "house brew" coffee tasted like old instant coffee. Cappuccino was likely Nescafe dispenser machine coffee. Our server/waitresss was very nice but overwhelmed. Managers/other staff sat behind the counter and did not offer any help to her, or apology to patrons.

Maybe it was an off day but I'm...

For all you small bite peeps out there, Riley's is your zone! Tasty options, great spot for a bizniz meeting - fills a hole, yummy on the way down and your meeting would be over in under an hour. The attendants are super helpful and pleasant. No grumps here. Now to address why I didn't give all 5 stars, I attribute it to the fact that I am a healthy eater (and I'm not talking kale or fat-free, I'm talking I prefer sizeable portions and taking home a doggie bag). #MetabolismOnOverdriveMuch All in all, the food is good. The tea is hot, my humble suggestion would be to have an option for a pot of tea ☕.

Really nice little place. Discovered here by accident whilst working one. There breakfast is cheap and filling. They also offer lunch as well. Never had their lunch but the menu looks quite nice. They have outdoor dining (when the country opens back). The staff there is also accommodating. Been there a couple times and will be there a few more. The only take back is, the pace is a bit small, but it adds to to coziness of the place. Bon appetite. They recently upgraded their menu, some of the older items are available but only for take away now. However same great taste same great price.
