Burger Joint — Restaurant in Port of Spain

Really great place. The cashier was really friendly and he recommended a burger with blue cheese when we asked. I was sceptical at first as the last time I had a burger with blue cheese it tasted like farts and vomit at the same time. He explained that he didn't like blue cheese either but he liked this burger, so we got it and did not regret it! I do suggest that you do not be shy with adding sauces as it was a bit dry to me. I got it as a combo which entails onion rings/fries and a.drink. I got onion rings and they were FANTASTIC. I only wish that there were more. Another complaint I have is less the establishment itself but 4 boisterous and obnoxious ladies who destroyed the peaceful ambiance the moment they stepped it. They say they open at 11:00am, however, each and everytime I call to place an order, they never pick up the phone. Also, I parked outside their branch at Brentwood gas station branch at 11:00am multiple times, and they choose not to open the doors until beyond half an hour later (bear in mind that there are staff members inside most of the time).

On a more positive note, their beef and lentil burgers are good; I won't say the best, but good enough to satisfy me.

This establishment needs to treat their workers better. Especially new staff. I've observed in particular how they treated what seemed to be a new employee. While the young man didn't seem to have much experience they should learn how to communicate better and not be mean and discouraging. We all have first day anxiety. I didn't even see the young man after that maybe he quit maybe they sent him home, who knows. Just be kind man, minus all the attitude and sarcasm. I'm wondering if he even got paid...
