Food Square — Restaurant in undefined

I absolutely love Food Square. One of my go to places for good food and a good time! The atmosphere is great, the food options are amazing, excellent place for a get together. However I had a STINK interaction with the manager on my last visit. Brought some foreign friends to the venue to show them what we love so much about the place, but we ended up leaving after being shouted at.

As a group consisting of mainly females (mostly foreigners) we felt very uncomfortable being at the establishment that night which is why we chose to leave to dine elsewhere. Really was disappointed by the experience my friends had, because I’ve previously only ever had good things to say about the place.

On leaving we expressed to the man that his approach could have been better and a little less aggressive but his response was “ Go ahead, it’s no loss to me”.

May I recommend having the manager dressed in a uniform or with a name tag in future so that he is easy to identify? The man aggressively approaching us in the plaid shirt, jeans and large silver chains really didn’t stand out...

Great Ave idea... if only parking wasn't an issue. Can't tell you the number of times we didn't get food there because we couldn't get a park. The times that we did was great though. I love variety...and this place frees me from the bondage of fries and chicken!!!!

Music adds to the ambiance and seating definitely helps. Did I mention tacos ??? Well yes tacos...but I see some smoke places coming soon, so looking forward to the ongoing...

This is the best place to explore the Trinidad foods, they have very diversified shops including mixed of chains, Arabic, Indian foods. Also, world famous donuts, juice bars, etc. Very clean place, normally weekends, this place is crowded and you have to wait 10-15 minutes get your order but you don’t feel that waiting time because of so many varieties of food and drinks. Price also very reasonable...
