This is a really nice bakery and cafe in St.James... just a few blocks away from Long Circular Mall. I went there with a friend last Thursday, we met the owner Katrina Phillips and had stimulating conversations about culture, politics and the creative economy in Trinidad and Tobago. I bought the most delicious whole wheat breads, but my friend got the yummy pastry and she was in seventh heaven.

Wonderful service and comfortable atmosphere. The portions aren't bad for the price when compared to other places however the list of menu options could be more extensive. I had the bake and saltfish buljol with an additional side of bhagi. The bhagi was quite bitter and lacking flavor. All other items tasted good including the quesdadillas and carrot & walnut bread my companion had.

I had an early morning appointment and did not have breakfast so I decided to finally check out this place. Had waffles with chicken tenders and my friend had pancakes with scrambled eggs. We were both quite pleased with the offerings. It’s on our list to visit again soon to try other stuff.

2nd time there........ 👍👍👍 I live in the south and i came strait from the airport just to go have breakfast there. Food was fantastic again. Had a 3 egg omelete with the works. Also had the coconut bake which was to die for. My wife had the chicken n waffles. To top it off, i purchased four large slices of coconut bake to go. Service was top of the line. Staff was the best. Will be going back soon. Keep up the good vibe 🤩🤩🤩🤩

PS: the cakes/pastries i bought for my night time snacks were fantastic.

We had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch at Upper Crust. It was full of variety and decicious: soup, two types of salad, salmon, chicken roulade, bread: croissants coconut bake. There were at least 3 desserts to choose from and wonderful mimosas. I especially loved the codfish-cassava croquettes and the macaroons..The servers were attentive and the atmosphere cheery and hospitable. I recommend them highly, and will...
