Original Bar-B-Que Hut — Restaurant in San Fernando

Great food, I have been buying from Original from when they were in the old location and their sauces are still on point, everytime I am craving some bbq it is here we go, their shrimp pretty big and you get a decent amount, the beef is great as well there is so much meat in the box sometimes I can barely eat it out and the beef is cut small so you can eat it with the fries one time, I definitely recommend here for a tasty bbq, and make sure and try their fresh juices they have in the cooler when ordering, the grapefruit is so good you won't be disappointed. I absolutely love their pepper sauce as well I am glad they never changed it, same thing for the garlic sauce, no one makes sauce like them. Another thing the macaroni pies are awesome, you have to try it out, it tastes like old time macaroni pie they way grandparents...

Spacious open casual dining area, tables are wiped down with sanitizer by the staff. Lines are handled quickly once cash is being used, linx does take a while. The quality that we were accustomed to has dropped along with the increase in prices for the same amount of food. The food still tastes good, though that long ago taste was something we used to crave all the time. Parking is abundant but not really regulated so it’s up to everyone to keep some order. Overall it is a convenient place to have dinner or order food quickly but just lacks that edge over...

Food Had a 1/2 portion with chicken and fries Chicken was bland and only thing that made it taste good was the sauces, some of the fries were still a bit raw but most of them were cooked well, not great but well.

The service was okay, took a while to get our food, as I saw others that came after me got their food before me, but I was informed that we had to wait for chicken, this was at approx 9:30pm

Atmosphere was good, as the place was kept very clean, and put together with more than enough seating to accommodate from small guest sizes to large family...
