We first discovered Ben’s Resto Café on Google Maps and were immediately intrigued by all the five-star reviews. And honestly? Every single one is well-deserved. We enjoyed it so much that we went back two nights in a row.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with plenty of space both inside and out. The outdoor area was especially lovely—spacious, relaxed, and even home to a few adorable cats I couldn’t resist slipping a little food to. Inside, there’s also a large projector for watching sports, adding to the friendly, social vibe.

The menu is extensive, offering everything from pizzas, calzones, pastas, meats, and burgers to authentic Tunisian dishes. On our first evening, Ben—the owner and chef himself—served us personally. He invited us back the following night to try the traditional Tunisian tajin, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavourful, and generously portioned.

The staff truly deserve recognition: attentive, professional, and genuinely kind, they made us feel completely at home. Ben went above and beyond, stopping by our table to check in and even surprising us with rice and sauce to accompany our meat, free of charge. The complimentary tea at the end of each meal was another thoughtful touch.

Ben’s – A Hidden Gem in Yasmine Hammamet!

At the beginning of the touristic area of Yasmine Hammamet, Ben’s Café and Restaurant truly impressed us. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely kind and attentive, making us feel right at home.

One thing we really appreciated is the setup: there’s plenty of space, and the tables aren’t crowded together, so we felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the meal.

The menu offers a wide variety—pizza, calzones, pastas, meats, and burgers—and everything we tried was fresh and full of flavour. They serve tasty appetizers to enjoy while waiting for your order, and we were surprised with complimentary dessert and tea at the end. The highlight of the evening was when the chef himself came to our table to ask if we were enjoying the food. That personal touch made the experience unforgettable.
