Restaurant barberousse marina — Restaurant in Maghreb

Seafood was off, rotten, bad smell, bad taste. This was only the case with one dish (La Plancha Fruits de Mer [one of the most expensive]). It concerned the shrimp and cuttlefish.

We should not have been served such a dish. As soon as it was put on the table, some of us started smelling bad smells.

Attempting to eat it was a bad experience.

It should not have been possible for the cook to prepare it without noticing the smell. It's possible he overcooked the seafood so the grilled taste overcomes the rotten taste.

The price of the rotten dish was removed from the bill with no effort, with many apologies by the staff.

My own Ojja Fruit de Mer was not very good: seafood was not tasty (possibly boiled for too long or frozen...).

Other than that, the place was clean and well decorated. The brown bread they served us as an entry...

Amazing dinner time with family and friends. Our waiter MARVEN was amazing and very professional. He said he has been working in the Marina Restaurant for 6 years and he is doing an amazing service. 🤩🤩🤩 I have had some food requests and he went above and beyond to make me happy. Simply astonished that on my last day here I actually found a restaurant that makes amazing pizza and pasta. They even put a twist on the old classic Diavola pizza by adding a glaze of honey. The crust and bread of the pizza was simply the best I've tested to date and I've been all around Italy and the better part of Europe.
