Recensione: Durante una recente visita al rinomato Ristorante Barbarossa, situato vicino al porto turistico di Hammamet, la mia esperienza è stata notevolmente al di sotto delle aspettative. Eravamo un gruppo di quattro persone e abbiamo ordinato tre filetti di bue e un piatto di pesce con seppie e gamberetti. Purtroppo, le seppie erano eccessivamente dure e difficili da tagliare. Inoltre, il piatto di pesce presentava un sapore sgradevole, probabilmente a causa della cottura sulla stessa piastra utilizzata per la carne. Anche il carciofo che accompagnava il filetto era di consistenza così dura da risultare immangiabile.

Dopo aver avanzato un reclamo, il responsabile di sala, un uomo con un codino, ha offerto di sostituire il piatto di pesce, ma non ha effettuato alcuna verifica in cucina né ha cercato di indagare le cause del problema, dimostrando scarsa attenzione per la risoluzione del disservizio.

In conclusione, nonostante l'ambiente elegante e la location prestigiosa, la qualità del cibo e il servizio offerto al Ristorante Barbarossa hanno lasciato molto a desiderare. Sconsiglio vivamente una visita a chi cerca un'esperienza culinaria di qualità ad Hammamet.

Critique : Lors de ma récente visite au renommé Restaurant Barbarossa, situé près du port de plaisance d'Hammamet, mon expérience a été largement en dessous des attentes. Nous étions un groupe de quatre personnes et avions commandé trois filets de bœuf et un plat de fruits de mer composé de seiches et de crevettes. Malheureusement, les seiches étaient excessivement dures et difficiles à couper. De plus, le plat de fruits de mer présentait un goût désagréable, probablement à cause de la cuisson sur la même plaque utilisée pour la viande. L'artichaut qui accompagnait le filet était également si dur qu'il était immangeable.

Après avoir fait une réclamation, le responsable de salle, un homme avec un catogan, a proposé de remplacer le plat de fruits de mer, mais il n'a procédé à aucune vérification en cuisine ni cherché à enquêter sur les causes du problème, montrant peu de préoccupation pour résoudre le désagrément.

En conclusion, malgré un cadre élégant et un emplacement prestigieux, la qualité de la nourriture et le service offerts au Restaurant Barbarossa ont été très décevants. Je déconseille vivement une visite à ceux qui recherchent une expérience culinaire de qualité à Hammamet.

We were a group of four and ordered three beef fillets and a seafood dish consisting of cuttlefish and shrimps. Unfortunately, the cuttlefish were excessively tough and difficult to cut. Moreover, the seafood dish had an unpleasant taste, likely due to being cooked on the same grill used for the meat. The artichoke accompanying the fillet was also so tough that it was inedible.

After making a complaint, the floor manager, a man with a ponytail, offered to replace the seafood dish, but he did not perform any check in the kitchen nor did he attempt to investigate the causes of the issue, showing little concern for resolving the service failure.

In conclusion, despite the elegant setting and prestigious location, the quality of food and service at Restaurant Barbarossa were very disappointing. I strongly discourage a visit for those seeking a quality dining experience...

The initial impression is highly positive, thanks to the warm welcome and exceptional service. The waitstaff, in particular, stands out for their outstanding service and attentiveness throughout the meal.

However, it's essential to note that once the bill is settled, the level of attention tends to decline, and you might feel somewhat forgotten.

On the culinary front, while the menu presents an enticing array of options, the dish "Macaroni with grouper" left something to be desired. It was a bit too oily for my taste, which was a slight disappointment given the otherwise favorable dining experience.

Overall, this place has a lot going for it, including its beautiful beachfront location and attentive service. With a little improvement in post-payment attention and perhaps a refinement of certain dishes, it could truly shine as a top-notch...

ASK THEM TO OPEN THE WATER BOTTLES IN FRONT IF YOU! I read about the fact that they are giving open bottles of water and some people saying that you should ask for those to be opened in front of you as these contained dirt inside and maybe was tap water. We’ve been to the Barberousse in the Medina two weeks ago and we remarked they were the only ones providing sparkling water, while in Tunisia now there’s a shortage of “Garci” water. One person got a bit sick and we couldn’t understand what it was, now we realize it’s the water they provide. Maybe for this reason, maybe for a salad not properly washed, a person in the group didn’t feel ok after the meal again. Otherwise the place is nice in terms of ambience, and food was good.
