Restaurant Club House Golf Kantaoui — Restaurant in Maghreb

A truly underrated restaurant. We were greeted by a waiter who kindly recommended what we should eat. There was a lamb special on the day we went to eat here and it was the best meal I had in Tunisia.

The food arrived very quickly; especially considering that it was slow cooked. The kind waiter provided a side of fries and spring rolls alongside the meal which added an extra oomph to the meals.

The lamb itself was incredibly tender and slow cooked in a delicious broth/sauce that we dipped our complimentary bread into after devouring the lamb. It was hearty and filling.

The price for the meal was around £12 excluding drinks. Cheap for Europeans, a bit pricey for Tunisians.

The view is good but the insects are everywhere and the waiters were not friendly it was my first time to feel so unwemcome and they didnt bother to check on us after we ordered , we had to go looking where we can pay. Not planning to go back again thanks to them....

Had the privilege of visiting this one twice. First visit, I had the mushroom omelette with a large beer. The bill was more than I expected, because I was served two small beers instead of the large one...
