Rose and Crown — Restaurant in Sousse

What an absolute hidden gem! After happening upon this delightful British themed pub whilst holidaying in July, we were not left disappointed. This is a locals bar but everything about it was quintessentially British down to the flags on the ceiling and carpeted floor. The staff (Selma and Fresh especially) could not have been more friendly and welcoming to 2 females travelling alone. On the second visit, we were greeted like regulars! The service was outstanding, the selection of free snacks including traditional Tunisian dishes was exceptional and I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who prefers somewhere a bit off the beaten track! 5 stars in...

One of the few places in Sousse that have ice cold draft beer. Don't be discouraged by the mall looking a bit deserted. Walk up the non functioning escalators behind California Gym and be warmly welcomed by the bartenders and staff at Rose and Crown. They have several TVs showing Spanish, French and English football. Like an English pub from the 1950s in an abandoned shopping mall - it's pretty surreal! But the service is good and it attracts a really non-pretentious crowd which is unusual in Sousse!
