La Croisette — Restaurant in Tunis

The rating is more for the breathtaking view on the rooftop terrasse than the food but the food was also good. The wood fired pizza with merguez was great. The crepe salée was good. You can take a sweeping 360 degrees view of the entire city and the Ferris wheel behind you. It’s worth going there before sunset to witness the transformation of colors and lights from the sky to the skyline and the lake water surface. Zero stars for inaccessibility. I'm really surprised that this café is usually empty whenever I go. It's very calm, the music isn't loud and the view is amazing. I only got brunches whenevwe I went there and every time it was served fast and was very delicious. The prices are comparable to almost every café in the Lac area, though maybe a bit pricer than some, it was still not too expensive in comparison. I particularly love their croissants which were served hot! Will definitely be coming...

The service was the only pleasant experience in the restaurant. I booked an outdoor table facing the view of the lake. However the dirt around me (packages, papers, dirt, leaves...) made the visit less atmospheric, next to the overpriced food that was not worth it. The waiter, regardless, was nice... Though I thought he would notice the messy floor and do something about it...
