Le Diamant Bleu — Restaurant in Tunis

The seafood in the seafood sallad was smelling very bad. It was obviously starting to go bad. It appears the resturant has new ownership the woman always sits in the middle of the terrace facing all customers. she was loud and obnoxious several times toward the staff. When we complained about the seafood after just tasting it she jumped over from her dinner and swore it was fresh fish, when we told her that we do not doubt it but we can not have this as it does not taste right. she told the waiter to bring us a tuna sallad instead which we did not really want at all.. After we all had our mains and desserts, came the check the owner sitting right behind us ducked away and we were charged for the two seafood sallads that were absolutely uneatable even with the lowest standards for freshness. The waiter was embaressed because the previous summers i used to have dinner there a couple of times a week and i had become friendly with the staff.

This resturant has a great location but there are far better places to eat close by or in tunis in general. THE CONCLUSION IS THE FISH CAN BE FOUL AND THE SERVICE THE WORST I HAVE PERSONALLY EXPERIENCED IN THIS CLASS OF RESTURANT IN...

Nourriture; n'importe quoi, horrible. Normalement, si on va dans un restaurant et qu'on règle un plat à 85 dinars: chateaubriand 3 sauces pour deux personnes, c'est pour bien manger tout en ayant du PLAISIR...ce qui n'etait pas le cas dans cet endroit: Viande trop cuite, sèche...l'accompagnement n'a rien à voir avec un chateaubriand d'un point qualitatif... J'ai commandé un jus d'orange, il n'était pas frais... Très grande déception, et mon sentiment que j'ai eu au moment de régler la facture de 96 dinars: on s'est moqué de moi. Personne ne nous a demandé si s'était bon, comment ça s'est passé,aucun mot. Croyez-moi :la nourriture dans un fast food est nettement meilleure.
