I stay here for 3 nights. Location is great in the middle of Lac 1 and there are many restaurants and cafe near by. Average room quality with old furniture. I had a room with lake view however I found out it is with street view and you can see the lake behind the opposite building. I came here on a business trip and one day I had to do some work with my colleague so I invited him to the room to work in the presentation that we had. The receptionist call me on the room and asked me if I have someone wit me in the room and I said yes, then he said this is not allowed and he has to leave immediately and he was so rude. Actually the attitude of the receptionist should be more professionalism and have a good understanding of the situation. Any way I don’t think that I will stay here again even if I get the room for free. Breakfast was basic and it doesn’t worth as you can have better and more delicious one on the restaurant next door.

Not to far from Tunis airport, approximately 15 minute drive. The service from the reception was very friendly and helpful, english and french well spoken. The reception area, restaurant and pool are are all kept clean and tidy. The breakfast has a fair variety which is all not bad. The evening meal was a little dissapointing, the service was good but when ordering the dishes some were not available after ordering, then the orders came out cold and not great. The room's are dated with dirty sealant around the bath, cracked tiles around toilet flush, water drainage in the sink very slow, this is for room 122. Wi-Fi is quick for whats needed, even for larger sizes of files. Its a shame as these avoidable things could be rectified and the hotel could be very good.

The hotel is actually very close to airport just 10 minutes drive. The food is good enough. Rooms are clean and comfortable however it offers balcony with lake view but the balcony actually faces the front entrance where you will see the guard and the space in the balcony is small so you won’t be able to enjoy the lake view. But from inside the room itself will be able to enjoy the sunset . Bathroom are good enough but the room I stayed in the water used to drain very slow from the basin. However, if you are staying for travel purpose only then it’s good enough. 👍👍

Location: The hotel is located in the LAC 1 neighborhood of Tunis. The location was good, safe, and easy accessible. It is near the airport, across from the lake with access to restaurants, ATMs, shops, and other hotels. Structure-Safety-Security: The hotel is a 3-story gated compound property secured by well dressed unarmed security personnel, fence, and cameras. The fence is a combination of concrete and vertical steel bars. The main gate was manned 24-7. There was a metal detector in the main entrance, but was not been used. There were parking spaces for approximately 30 to 40 vehicles. There was a security camera system inside the hotel and within the compound. The rooms are accessible with electronic card key. The rooms have small balcony that is not easy accessible to intruders. Within the compound there is a courtyard with a conference room and a separate building which appeared being renovated for a Cafe. Smoke detectors were observed around the hotel. Fire suppression system and or fire extinguisher were not observed. Rooms: The rooms are well kept, decorated, and cleaned. There were two types of rooms observed. One was smaller than the other one. I do not have information on available suites. The room we stayed had a queen bed with typical basic furniture and a complementary bottle of water per person. The balcony is small, but good enough to breathe fresh air and for smokers. Some of the balconies have side view to the lake. Amenities: Although there were ATMs in the vicinity of the hotel, the reception could daily exchange up to 20 USD into Dinars. There was a restaurant where breakfast is served, reception area, good size lobby-Cafe area, a small bar area. The hotel common areas were cleaned, well decorated, and smoke-freed. There was no swimming pool - although a swimming pool is shown in on-line websites. There was no Gym, but there was a private one next to the hotel. There were two WiFi available, one protected and the other unprotected without password. Unfortunately, both WiFi were not reliable in the room. Instead the WiFi connections were reliable only on the ground level-reception area. Restaurant-Food: The breakfasts served in the restaurant was good. The breakfast is buffet style and includes fresh omelets and fresh crepes. Hotel Staff: Reception: During check-in we were serviced by Ms. Feriel. A polite, professional, accommodating, and customer service oriented person. We also met Ms. Hana who displayed the same pleasant demeanor and professionalism. They both exceptionally handled our immediate requests. Keep up the good work, kudos to you. However, with the bell person Mr. Haithem we did not have the same experience as we did with the rest of the hotel staff. After Mr. Haithem took our luggage to the room, I gave him a tip in US Dollars. I was shocked when Mr. Haithem told me that he didn't want US Dollars that he wanted Dinars. I cannot speak about Mr. Haithem motivation to do so. All I know is that it was rude. A tip is a gratuity giving by a customer under no obligation. Other hotel staff were appreciative being tip with US dollars. Housekeeping: Upon arrival Ms. Fadila housekeeping supervisor, was extremely helpful and accommodating. She gave us the opportunity to see and select a slightly bigger room in which two people can move comfortably. Additionally, Ms. Khadija and Ms. Henda were excellent in making up and cleaning our room. Thanks for a job well done! Restaurant-Room Service: Breakfasts was really good. Ms. Jelidi Rym, chef, is definitely a good chef. She also treated people with respect, courtesy, and professionalism. She had a very positive vibe. The room service staff was very good, professional and timely. Besides the sad experience with Mr. Haithem, the professionalism, politeness, and good customer services of these staff is a reflection of the hotel management standards when hiring...

Stayed 5 nights for our business trip.||The hotel was very helpful and flexible with our requests during the conference.||Not many staff speak well English, which caused to us small issues during the work process, and some delays. ||Positively impressed from the room cleanliness (housekeeping in general), and the main restaurant staff. Very professional team.||||I still rate it 4 stars, mainly for the small accident that happened but brought to me a very negative impression. The first time when we got the possibility to go outside, after the working day, we asked the reception to call us a taxi (as the previous day the lady told us that prices are all the same, no matter we order from the hotel or take a taxi from outside), so we preferred to order, considering this as a more safe option. We went to downtown and back, and the driver called Waleed was literally eating our brains all the trip. Speaking a lot, things that we didn't need to hear. He offered to wait us till we finish our walk, since we couldn't call him back. He supposed to wait there, but he was driving other clients during this time and we end up waiting him in a cafe, till we saw that he came. We didn't want to go back with him but as he didn't accept to take any money from when he left us, we were obligated to return with him again. So we did. I asked why the meter isn't working, he said that this is not a problem, and by the end of our trip i supposed to give him 80 Tunisian Dinars, while I had only 70 all in my pocket. He took these and said it's OK (as we supposed to discuss the price!). Then he waited for us to go up to the room and came to the reception (!!! guess why). I knew this when I had to go down to renew my keys. ||Well, this experience was terrible, but I learned: NEVER ever order your taxi at the reception of any hotel in Tunis, just go out and catch a free taximeter. It's consuming less time and nerves, truly. Also it will cost you about 1 Dinar per km :) We had to use taxies later in the city, and nobody was trying to cheat us or talk anything unnecessary.||Same accident was reported to the other shift at the front desk (the polite receptionist who exchanged my cash-forgot his name) and I really hope that this greedy driver understood that what he does is...
