Olea & Bar — Restaurant in Beşiktaş

What a big disappointment! I chose Olea Bar for my birthday celebration. 1 week before I made my reservation , I asked them every details and they informed me. When the day came, they took extra money from me and they did not give any information about this. They said it is only service payment but the price difference was very big than what they said before!!!!! My payment was 1.980 but they took 2.550 turkish liras from me!! What kind of service payment is this? Also, they brought my birthday cake very late I think they forgot!!!! When they brought, the song was almost over....By the way when I asked about the payment details they acted very rude and told me ''you also 2000 turkish lira debt to us.''!! I was humiliated and victimized in front of all my friends. They gave me incomplete information and charged me extra. Despite asking multiple times before arriving, they changed their minds there and victimized me in front of everyone. I left very unhappy. I thought I would be happy celebrating my birthday there. That's why I never recommend this place and I will never forget my sadness.

En sevdiğim yerlerden biri benim için doğum günümde büyük bir hayal kırıklığı oldu! Hevesle mutlulukla seçtiğim bu yerde özel günümü arkadaşlarımla mutlu bir şekilde kutlayacağımı düşünürken oradan nerdeyse gözlerim dolu bir şekilde ayrıldım. Her neyse fiyat farkını görünce sorguladım ama tamam önemli değil artık yapacak bir şey yok dememe rağmen kaba bir şekilde hala tüm arkadaşlarımın yanında benim yanıma gelip muhabbetimizi bölerek servis ücreti ile ilgili benimle tartışmaya devam ettiler o kadar rencide oldum ki. Hatta kaba bir şekilde biz sizden pasta ücreti almadık (?) hatta sizin bize daha 2000 tl borcunuz var dendi. Korkunç. Kızdığım nokta hem bunu herkesin içinde rencide edici şekilde söylemeleri, hem de defalarca sormama rağmen bana doğru bilgi vermemeleriydi. Ayrıca pastamı geç getirdiler, müzik bitti pastam geldi, kokteyl getirmeyi unuttular vs cabası.. Ne diyeyim, hiç beklemiyordum. I went on a date in this place with my wife on November 2022. Service is great. I would like to thank the waiters. Their service and attention are impressive. There is nice Spanish music playing in the background, and it doesn't bother the conversations. There are usually Italian foods. Despite the fact that service was amazing, taste of foods was not good enough. We ordered 2 penne arabiata and 1 margarita with 1 liter water, we paid 1500 TRY in total. I know it's a luxury place, so big amounts shouldn't surprise me. I think I paid this amount of money for the service. Because when I compare food quality with this price, it's not worth it. I recently had dinner at Olea, and the meal was delicious. We were a group of four adults and two kids. When I asked for the bill, I was surprised to see an additional charge of 1,400 Turkish lira. When I inquired about it, I was told it was a cover charge. I pointed out that a service charge had already been added to the total, so I questioned why there was an extra cover charge. The manager explained that it was for the bread and olive oil.
