Saturday night, 7 PM—prime time for dinner and, apparently, for being ripped off. We sat down, were given menus with clear prices, and saw the same prices displayed outside. Everything seemed fine until the bill arrived, and surprise—different, higher prices.
When we asked why, we were told it was “bad timing for us” because they were just updating their prices. On a Saturday night. During the busiest hour. Really? Who updates prices in the middle of dinner service? This wasn’t just bad timing—it was outright fraud.
The service didn’t help their case either. They brought the soup and the main course at the same time. I guess basic standards were too much to expect.
As if that wasn’t enough, we ordered tomato soup and were brought chicken soup instead. Why? Because it’s their new product, and they wanted us to “try it.” They didn’t just suggest it—they brought it straight to the table, as if we’d magically forget what we’d ordered. This was both disrespectful and absurd.
What they did isn’t just unethical—it’s illegal. Changing prices after the fact without informing customers and serving unordered items violates basic consumer rights. They should consider themselves lucky we didn’t inform the police, because what they pulled off was a textbook scam. After we paid their inflated bill and complained, they offered a measly 10% discount. Too little, too late. A small discount doesn’t fix a ruined evening, nor does it erase their shady practices.
We’ll certainly remember this restaurant—not for the food, not for the atmosphere, but for their most unique approach to scamming people. It’s not every day you find a place that treats deception as part of the dining experience.
In short, if you want to eat here, bring extra cash—you’ll need it when their “updated prices” hit you. Or better yet, don’t bother. There are plenty of places that can serve a meal without treating their...

Pros: Charming location Extremely reasonable prices High quality raw ingredients Fettuccine Alfredo made in a Grana Padano wheel was delicious
Cons:
Outdoor table was unsteady/wobbly
The wine ordered was not was brought out (I guess they were out and substituted a similar wine at a lesser price point, but without asking us)
Caesar salad had sliced chili peppers (not listed on the menu). Romaine was super fresh and the dressing could have been a bit more assertive. Croutons would make for a nice addition.
Pizza dough was a little gummy at parts. I’m guessing they cold-ferment their dough and didn’t bring it up to room temp for long enough before cooking - sauce and cheese were fantastic though. If they make some adjustments to their dough management, this would be an excellent pizza.
Artichoke salad had unripe avocado - very good otherwise.
The check was presented without asking 10 mins after closing while we were finishing our wine and other tables were still mid-meal.
Overall: a very good value, especially for the area. If Pasta Nino works out these kinks in food prep and service, they could be a top...

Positives All excellent meals & top drawer, so much so that agreed this was the best Italian meal we'd had in many years, we complimented the chefs personally it was that good:- Truffle Fries Spicy Pawns Linguine courgette & basil Fettuccine with chicken I found the young attendant v. attentive & helpful.
Negative:- The two older attendants appeared to be more interested in their fones, I even had to ask for our table to be cleared after the meal & a menu to reorder drinks. The only time they should any interest was at the point of payment. I did notice when payment was made at another table they gave the customer the machine receipt & walk off, with not even a thank you or good bye. V rude &...
