This little coffee shop has been a favourite since 2018 when I used to live in Turkey. Although their espresso beased coffee might not be on my top 3 in Istanbul, the atmosphere between all the shops in Karakoy is absolutely amazing.
I am writing this review just now because I visited them a couple of days ago and I noticed two things:
not only they didn't serve a free glass of water and the free cookie that they used to serve, which is totally justified due to the struggling Turkish economy;
but also their coffee has become ridiculously expensive. More expensive than any other coffee shop in Istanbul, and even more expensive than any coffee I buy in Toronto (Canada) where I live. I was charged 6.16 CAD for a cortado, which never costs me more than 5...

The reason why I rated 4 is the following: closing time mentioned online is 11 pm, went there yesterday at 10 pm and the guy told us that they are closed, although he was counting the money and we did not want a hot beverage that requires any machinery. He refused to sell us anything despite that we told him to took a metro of 2 hours to come to the coffee shop. I think it was rude to do so with tourists that showed him zomato and said we are coming all the way from Esenyurt to taste your coffee.

If your regular coffee isn't enough to keep you alive anymore, they have two awesome options for you - Black Eye and Red eye coffee :3 One is a filter with a shot of espresso and other one has two shots with a filter. Isn't it just amazing? 😍 Café is nice, very cosy, have a few tables outside and a lot of fluffy visitors. There're also a nice warming lamps, so it's not cold to chill with your cup of coffee outside.
