Awful service, rude waiters, and manager(s) don’t care.

Waiter cussed us out because their credit card terminal were displaying errors while trying to charge our cards (we tried multiple functional credit cards) and when we offered paying cash in euro (we did not carry the amount in Turkish Lira), they tried to charge us 40% more than the exchange amount just because we wanted to pay in euro. The waiter literally said “this is your problem, not my problem”!!!

After multiple attempts, one of the credit card terminals worked. No apology offered, no other comments made. After we told them “this is not the proper way of treating customers”, one of the waiters just said “I speak little English”.

During the whole time, the manager watched the situation with no regard or care and did not get involved at all.

I visited here with my wife's family during our wedding trip, and all the dishes we ordered were served cold, which was whatever. However, what really upset me was when three of my British friends visited without me, the staff added items to their bill that they didn't order. I had already warned them about this common scam in Türkiye, and fortunately, one of them noticed it. When they confronted the staff, they were told to keep it quiet. The service was extremely slow and the outside seating and tables are extremely small and they cram an absurd amount of chairs in their outside area. They did not understand English and messed up our order. When the food finally came the meat (in our case, chicken and beef) was cold, over-cooked, rubbery, bland, unsalted and boring. The vegetables were slimy, tasteless and pale. The price came out to be some ludicrous amount that towered over anything else we've eaten here in Istanbul.
