Edit: The original review was made around the end of October 2024. Since then, it went.. viral. I went there again on last week and it's packed full of people, many complaining that they haven't got their food, and I was sitting there happy to see this restaurant developed so well but at the same time sad because now I have to line up for 45 minutes for a single bowl of ramen instead of the usual 5 minutes 😬. So perhaps you'll see some bad reviews here complaining the service is bad or slow, it's just the trade off from being a popular restaurant. Oh, and also for no obvious reason they actually reduced the price by almost 40% for the original ramen. Someone subsidized it? I don't know, but it's still good lol
Original review: I've been here since before someone put this place on Google Maps. They have been established around 1.5 month ago, and I'm one of their first customer. I'm putting this review because apparently now I'm one of their loyal customer since the ramen is that good.
At first, I was just trying out things around Pazartekke, and I found this peculiar restaurant that's hidden behind trees (the sidewalk filled with trees and you can only see the neon sign from one side).
I bought the Dana Etli Ramen, which was the default ramen, and I absolutely love it. The simplicity of the broth, the moderate sting from chili oil, the hand pulled noodles, combines into a very authentic noodle. I refuse to actually call this a "ramen" since this is a chines style noodle which is far from ramen, but probably for localization this is better to understand I guess. They also sell another type of ramen like lime ramen, "spicy" chicken ramen, and thick noodle (özel ramen), but while the other is also good on its own, my best recommendation is still the default Dana Etli Ramen. Most of the ramen cost around 150-200 Lira (at the time of review). They also sell meats and other Chinese food, but because I'm alone and they only sell big portioned stir fried beef and chicken, I usually come to only buy the ramen.
I was refraining to put this on Google Maps just to gatekeep it lol. Just several block from here there is also a chinese restaurant that went viral because of social media and people are lining up for it, and I don't want to queue too long for my favorite restaurant haha, but someone puts it here so my mission failes I guess.
I met the real owner that can't speak Turkish or English, and that's a real proof that this place...
Read moreOur experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The waiter was not polite, which really affected the atmosphere—we believe proper training in guest service is much needed. The food was served very late and came out in parts, with around 10 minutes between each dish, which made it difficult to enjoy the meal together.
The portion sizes were extremely small—barely enough even for a child—and definitely not worth the high prices. The menu was a mixed list without any photos, so if you're not already familiar with their cuisine, it’s hard to understand what you're ordering.
Definitely, we won’t be visiting them again. We prefer to explore other options in the area that offer better value...
Read moreI felt like i was in China all over again! The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the staff so kind! I hope it stays the same as many asian restaurants I've tried in İstanbul change their portion sizes or increase prices or food quality. I really hope the owner keeps up the price and portion ratio and the delicious blend of spices and aromas. P.S the tea refill is free! Thank you myahxi team! I would definitely come again!
Update : We went here for the second time and it wasn't the same at all. Serving sizes were much smaller rice was smushy...
