Warung Nusantara — Restaurant in Fatih

How to go there? You can use Kabataş-Bağcılar tramline and get off on Merkez Efendi station. The restaurant is right on your opposite. How to get the tramline? If you use metrobus, just go Cevizliğbağ or Zeytinburnu and get the tram from there. If you are in Kabataş, Eminönü, Grand Bazaar or Sultanahmet-Blue Mosque, the tram is right in the main street. It is easy to find the tram from those places.

This is the first Indonesian restaurant in Istanbul. The food is really tasty. Try "Sate" if it is the first time you eat Indonesian food. You will love it for sure! You can reserved the place via call also. They accept any group as well. So don't worry if you come with your tour group.

They have so many Indonesian menus. The one you must try also is 'Mie ayam'. İt is Indonesian special chicken noodle. You can find Indonesian spices and Indomie as well if you want to try make Indonesian food by yourself at home.

For the price? It is really in tune. Do not worry, you will find it suitable with your pocket. Many universitu students come to have lunch and dinner at Warung Nusantara. We have been in Turkiye for more than a week already, and are surely craving for some Asian food. Took tram from our hotel and found this restaurant.

We reached quite late, nearing to their closing time. But they were very hospitable. Took order orders, and food arrived shortly.

Every single dish was AMAZING. We even ordered more halfway. We finished every single food on the plate.

By then, we were past the closing time. And still nobody says anything and the person who took our bill was very pleasant.

Our only regret? Not taking picture of before and after! We ourselves were surprised that every food was savoured to the last bite 😅

Purely Indonesia restaurants served typical Asian Indonesian food in Istanbul. The restaurant not very spacious but can accommodate 2 groups of coaches in 1 time. No parking area for big coach nearby buy easy excess by both taxi and tram. Next to tram station. The food are great and best to enjoy at both lunch and dinner.
