We walked in with a lot of expectations because of the positive reviews of the place on google maps. There are 3 different points marked on the maps, the restaurant needs to update the actual location properly. About the place: the ambience is wonderful. Beautiful backyard with trees lit with fairy lights and casual music. About the service: today there were heavily understaffed and everything took a long time to come, including the menu. Practically the chef and just one more person running the show, may be because it was off season. About the food: the menu looked so interesting that we were eager to taste. The chef or the sous chef cake to our table to apologise about the delay but said they make “artisan” food that takes time to be cooked. I ordered hummus and grilled halloumi open sandwich. My partner ordered salmon and sunny side up open sandwich. The hummus one came with sour dough bread that was firm and practically unbreakable. Initial few bites tasted alright and then it got saltier. The halloumi was salty, the hummus was chalky, the bread was tough and the greens in vinaigrette were salty. After a point I couldn’t eat any of that. Intense, sharp, salty flavour with no acidity, spice balance. My entire palate became so salty that I had to eat a fruit when I came home to cut the taste . My partners salmon sandwich had huge salmon portion, but nothing spectacular. And there was no sunny side up with the sandwich. Although the portions were huge, it was not a satisfying meal unfortunately. Both the sandwiches were topped with nigella seeds, which if not toasted bring out such raw strong flavour that couldn’t be balanced with anything else. With 2 open sandwiches and one beer the price was 102 lira, which I think was quiet a lot for a rather ordinary taste. There are so many restaurants on Calis beach with better food at a cheaper price., of course Gogo has a unique menu but I don’t think it was...
Read moreOverpriced and what they call vegan is basically taking out the animal products or protein and not replacing them with anything, but you pay double or triple the price. The pizza place nearby makes a veggie pizza for 30L and can make it without cheese no problem, but their vegan pizza has less vegetables and costs nearly 90L. The staff is not really knowledgeable in what vegan food should contain in terms of an actual nutritional meal and seem to me the kind to just cash in on the vegan label, stating that orange juice is also vegan (and is also more than x2 the price here btw). Come on bro haha we can also say water is vegan so every restaurant has vegan options. Disappointed in this place by far. The falafel is fried so I can’t eat that and that’s 3 items off the list, the 2 breakfast items are only made in the morning, 0 vegan desserts available, and one actually says yogurt and honey, but listed in the vegan section. The green smoothie as the worst green smoothie I think I’ve ever had; basically cucumber and some parsley I think they said. No spinach or kale. It’s green water. Call me highly critical, but for 40L, no way. Don’t...

I really love the idea of this whole concept uniting remarkable food with a marvelous atmosphere and different activities. They have big garden, where they offer many things through summer + off season. :)
