It all started well. Nice restaurant. Seafood display. We ordered hot starters - squid and fish on a skewer. When the food was brought to us, I tried the fish and then took a piece of green pepper and actively began to chew and swallow. It turned out that it was not "Bulgarian sweet pepper" but a very hot pepper. I started to choke, my partner ran to the waiters to ask for milk, while they were bringing milk (which I had to repeat several times to different waiters, because they don’t understand English well and didn’t understand the request “the girl is choking on hot pepper, give me milk”, I drank 2 scandals of water. When they finally brought milk somewhere 100-150 ml, it quickly ended and I started shouting in English “I’m choking, I can’t breathe, give me milk, I ate hot pepper”, to which a Turkish waiter came up and started saying in Russian “respect me, tell me please”, and repeated this 5 times, while the others watched me choke and wave my hands. We couldn’t stand waiting for the second portion of milk and ran to a nearby coffee shop MADO where we bought a glass of milk for 70 lira (a full glass, large size), it took us 30 seconds to order and receive milk. (Thank you!) Only this saved me, because my throat, mouth and lips continued to burn 15-20 minutes. and after 2 glasses of water and 2 glasses of milk my burning sensation passed for another 10 minutes, and with a very strong desire to puke. as soon as we left the cafe, two waiters ran up to us and then another one (possibly the manager), one waiter spoke Russian very calmly and seemed to understand everything, but asked to come back and pay the bill. the second spoke only Turkish. the third who ran up, a very grown-up one, started yelling at us in English, that the cameras showed that we left without paying. and that this would be deducted from the waiters' pockets. (let me remind you, we ran to buy milk because I was CHOKING and no one responded to my cries for HELP!) there was a scandal. we argued that no one told us that there was hot pepper in the dish, and he argued that we still had to pay. (starters came out to about 600 lira, not much money, but it's a matter of principle when you were almost killed and then publicly shouted at and humiliated that you are a thief who did not pay the bill). I think it's a huge shame for the manager and director of the restaurant who hire such unqualified employees. Who, when I scream for help, start saying "respect me and say please", seeing how I blush and choke, and my partner confusedly demands milk from all the waiters, to which they just stand there.
I have an allergy to spicy food, after that we ran to the hotel and I took 3 allergy pills!!! (in the video you can see a plate with fish on a skewer and a...
Read moreI was really let down with the service and food at this place. The grilled fish was not good at all - it was dry and smelled bad, it wasn't fresh. It felt like either it was left out too long or the chef just wasn’t up to scratch. The starter salads were also bad. The veggies were just boiled with the pure water, and they were also not fresh either. Other salads were tasted very sour, almost like chewing lemons directly. Honestly, the chef needs to improve their skills. The service quality here was also bad. I could fully understand that the seafood restaurant’s menu depends on the fish species of the day. However, the restaurant staff asked us to change the fish specie we ordered for several times and claimed that the fish specie we ordered was sold out. So, okay, fine, we can change to which you still have, right? The PROBLEM is that the grilled fish finally brought to the table was the fish specie that was ‘confirmed’ to have already been sold out, and also it was not the fish specie we put in our...
Read moreFrom the moment we arrived, the experience was absolutely perfect. The young lady at the door greeted us with a warm smile and genuine kindness — she made us feel welcome right away. It’s rare to see such a professional and friendly first impression, and it truly set the tone for the rest of the evening.
Our waiter was beyond excellent — very polite, patient, and extremely helpful. He explained the menu clearly, gave great recommendations, and checked on us just the right amount without being intrusive. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had a good time.
The food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The fish was especially perfect — grilled just right, tender and tasty. You can really feel the love and effort that goes into both the service and the kitchen.
