Beautiful decor and sights, as well as authentic. Very considerate and nice staff, even mentioning extra stuff (For example them telling me the noodle doesn’t have the oyster sauce originally, but then them looking and finding it later, and telling it to me, because I did want it before), further showing their consideration, and they even bring the drinks with ice, so you don't even have to worry about it.
The service is quite quick too, which may or may not be because we came at the exact time it was completely empty, but seeing the speed and the sheer professionalism in general, I bet they manage even in crowds.
The only complaint I have is the chopstick design which is a bit hard to keep things steady in, but maybe that’s just me nitpicking, and everything else is quite literally perfect.
The noodle, sashimi, and nigiri are one of the best (If not the best) I've tasted ever (Or at least in a very long while) and I enjoyed the noodle especially, a very different experience from the usual noodle you find in other places.
I also noticed one of the female staff members being able to talk with newly welcomed Korean guests in their language which I later learned that only she was able to speak apparently, but I believe it just shows the bond that can be formed during your time here with the staff. They are very kind and nice, and the service really is nice.
Also, at desert, we had complimentary macaroons next to the coffee, and I asked about it. As a result, they told me even if it wasn't on the menu, they could arrange it so that they could bring it to me, which only shows their consideration and customer service even more, as well as kindness.
I would definitely recommend everyone to come here if you enjoy an Asian culture, a delightful service not just with good food, but smiling faces, kindness, excellent customer service, calming music,...
Read moreThe kitchen was about to close when we arrived, but the friendly and welcoming staff were happy to accommodate us. We ordered a variety of dishes and were overall quite impressed.
The edamame with truffles was fantastic - the earthy truffle flavor complemented the simple soy-steamed edamame perfectly. The sweet and sour fries were decent, but not particularly memorable.
The gyoza, on the other hand, were absolutely amazing. The delicate dumpling wrappers enclosed a flavorful beef and vegetable filling. This was one of the standout dishes of the meal.
The maki rolls we ordered (unfortunately I can't recall the specific variety) were also really well-executed, with fresh, high-quality fish and rice.
The shrimp noodle dish was good, though it could have used a bit more seasoning or spice to give it that extra kick.
The real stars of the meal, though, were the Mongolian beef and the baby chicken yakitori. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, with a nice balance of sweet and savory. And the yakitori - perfectly charred and seasoned pieces of juicy chicken on skewers - was an absolute must-order.
However, one disappointing aspect was that the restaurant brought us the check before we were finished with our meal, likely because they were closing up for the night. While the late hour is understandable, this is not typical of the service expected at a fine dining establishment.
Overall, despite the late hour and the premature check, the team at this Japanese restaurant provided a wonderfully enjoyable dining experience for the most part. I'd highly recommend it for authentic and delicious Japanese cuisine, though they could improve on their...
Read moreI made reservation for my wife birthday. They didn’t even bring anything with candle. Every restaurant, whenever I go for special occasions they offer something. I am not trying to take free stuff but this is not only one time I was here for anniversary as well but they were only saying happy anniversary that’s it. Last time the food was delicious but this time the beef noodle was super oily when I told waiter about it, he took the food to the chef and when he backed he told us chef said it is normal cuz of sesame oil water blah blah. I think chef doesn’t know what exactly asian food. I am a chef as well and I am specialized in asian food. I have never seen a noodle swimming in oil. Thank you Ken. I will not come back...
