Viyana Kahvesi Bağdat Caddesi — Restaurant in Kadıköy

I recently visited Viyana Kahvesi Bağdat Caddesi and had an incredibly disappointing and disturbing experience. The behavior of one of the waiters was shockingly rude and racist. As soon as we requested something, he began screaming "No, don’t give them that!" and insisted they didn't have what we asked for, even though it was clear they did have it. He also screamed directly at us, which was both alarming and completely uncalled for.

This outburst seemed to be fueled solely by the fact that we were not Turkish, which is utterly unacceptable. To make matters worse, the other waitresses were laughing at the situation, further emphasizing their lack of professionalism and disrespect. We felt humiliated and unwelcome, and consequently left the café immediately. Such discriminatory behavior has no place in any establishment, and it’s disheartening to see it happening so blatantly.

I strongly urge potential customers to reconsider visiting Viyana Kahvesi Bağdat Caddesi unless they address and rectify this unacceptable behavior among their staff. Inclusivity and respect should be fundamental values in any customer service setting, and it’s clear that this café is severely...

I had seen a lot of Instagram reels for Viyana Kahvesi so had to try it. I decided to go to their Bagdat Caddesi location. Maybe I expected too much, but I would have expected such a business to be more receptive to tourists. Three major issues at this specific location:

1. it took a very long time for someone to acknowledge me to come and take my order.
2. the staff speaks 0 English. I already knew speaking English is not common at all in Istanbul, but again, I would have expected this cafe to cater to tourists.
3. they do not accept foreign credit cards. This pretty much shows why they don’t speak English either. I have used my US credit card in small pastry shops in Istanbul, so why this cafe doesn’t accept them is...

Nerden başlasam hangi birini anlatsam bilemiyorum..Yıllarca koşuyolu şubesine gittik hepte memnun ayrıldık,ama evimize yakın diye caddebostan şubesine gidelim dedik gitmez olaydık..Hepmi aynı rezillik..Her masa sessizce şikayette servis personeli boş boş ortada takılıyo mekanda yetkili namına kimse yok servis personelinin tavrı işinize geliyosa oturun yoksa cıkın gidin..Oturduk yarım saatten fazla garson bekledik,3 kahve 2 de san sebastian bi insanın bunu aklında tutması ne kadar zor olabilir? Unutuyosan not al kardesim..Ters ters sipariş alınır kahvenin biri eksik gelir getiren garsona söyleriz unutur gider kahvemizi barista kızcagız getirir ,baristanın servis yaptıgı nerde görülmüş..Flatwhite kahvemiz gelmiş buz gibi içine soguk süt basılmıs ugraşsan yenisi kim bilir ne zaman gelicek..Yan masa soguk çay geri yolladı arka masa tatlı bekledi..İçerde bi kaos kalabalık karmaşa ama bi tane muhattap bulamazsın..Böyle işlek bi caddede böyle kalabalık masa bulunmayan bi mekanda bi tane düzgün iletişim kurulucak yetkili yok belliki bu işletmenin sahibi sadece gelen parama bakiym diyo ve burayı kendi haline bırakmıs..Rezil bi servis kötü muamele soguk kahve ve asla eski lezzeti bulamıycagınız bi cheesecake yemek istiyosanız gidin..Sokağa atıcak paranız varsada buyrun gidin..Şu yorumu okuyan herkes umarım gitmekten vazgecer paranıza yazık arkadaslar..Son yıllarda istanbulda ki en kötü deneyimimdi yazık ne...
