So it was our last day and I was craving the Turkish kabab, the day before we had Turkish kebab from a nearby food place , it was good and thats why I thought lets try another one. This guy in the restaurant was desperate to take us in their food place. We went there, asked to give me shish kebab, it took forever to come. Well, the food that came it was very small quantity but big sized badly cut kebabs , extremely tasteless , and smelly. It smelled like the goat, like raw goat meat. I felt like vomiting once I had one piece in my mouth. I was feeling helpless, didn't want to waste the food, also couldn't eat. It was expensive as hell as well.
I asked the guy to take my plate and cut the kebabs into small pieces and fry them again so that I can eat that, but no, this guy took the kebabs for another half an hour and brought back cutting them in small pieces. If I had to cut them and eat I could do that myself with my hands. I understood they don't understand English, but they should have tried to give a good service.
I ruined my love for Turkish kebab by going to this place. Just know before eating somewhere look at the reviews, I will do that next time.
I still can't forget how horrible the taste and smelly it was , its been 3 days I returned from there. And won't remember what they served, it was really a horrible experience.
I am pretty sure most of the five star reviews are fake or written...
Read moreThis is why you can't trust reviews on google maps. They just get fake reviews by creating many fake accounts. If you actually look into it you can see that all the 5* reviews have only reviewed this single place. Why? Because they are fake. All the 1* reviews are from geniune people with geniune compaints. I bought 2 wrap doner kebabs, 1 lamb and 1 chicken. I trusted the fake reviews and I was wrong. First of all, it seems they have doubled the prices from last year. Last year I saw in the menu it was 180 lira for a doner kebab, now it's 320. It is waaaay to expensive for what it offers, in Turkey it's not worth even half. The doner seemed large, but most it was just pita. Small amount of meat and spices. One of the worst doners we've ever eaten. I took it to go, and they didn't even put freaking napkins in the bag, they are that cheap. This is basically a tourist trap created by...
