I have been at Qualista a couple of days ago. I must confess the seafood is really nice, no comment on this, I give 5 stars for the food. However, I wad very surprised they brought me a Raki at the table, and they didn't say anything about it...it is true that they asked "Raki?", until they added it in the final bill. It would have been correct they advised beforehand that it would be added, I thought it was just offered by the restaurant...they probably smelled the "tourists". So, I'm very unhappy with that. Second thing : I ordered a starter fried Kalamar and two main courses, one grilled shrimps and the other grilled octopuss. So, 3 courses in total. As we were two, I asked to bring all the 3 together so we can share it, and they understood it correctly because the man repeated "ok to share". But the (bad) surprise was that they brought all in a single plate...there were 6 Kalamar rings, 4 shrimps and two pieces of octopuss! Really disappointed, I'm pretty sure they did it intentionally. I would agree 6 fried rings of Kalamar as a starter, ok, but 4 shrimps and a couple of octapuss tentacles as main courses not! I'm pretty sure that would have been more pieces if they brought the courses separately. If not, the quantity is too low. Usually, shrimps are at minimum a number of 6 as a main course! And the bill was not cheap at all by the way. So I feel like I have been really cheated! This is tourists abuse. I had other friends in my same life hostel which recommended it to me, but I they had not...
Read moreThis place is simply amazing. We came here for dinner to celebrate a birthday and left with such a wonderful impression of the evening. The service was very pleasant and attentive. There was only one waiter who spoke English, but he always came over to our table and made sure we were well taken care of. For food, we ordered the Surf and Turf steak with shrimp and the Grilled Octopus — both were incredibly delicious. They truly know how to prepare seafood here and the combinations were excellent. For drinks, we first tried cocktails. The Passion Fruit Martini was good, the Mojito we didn’t enjoy at all and the Whisky Sour was not tasty when it first arrived. However, we asked for it to be remade and they did — the second version was already good. Later on, we also had wine recommended by the waiter — Kayra Allure, and we really liked it. For desserts, we chose Chocolate Caribbean Layers with ice cream and San Sebastián cheesecake. Both were very tasty and beautifully presented. The dishes here are truly well-prepared, everything tasted fantastic and the service was warm and thoughtful, I was also congratulated on my birthday with a candle in a dessert, which made it extra special and atmosphere was amazing — stunning sea view and a beautifully designed interior. Overall, we had a very positive experience and I can definitely recommend...
