First bad experience in Izmir in last 15 days.
Ok... Usually I avoid writing very harsh reviews for businesses unless they force me to do so by there actions. This place did one thing after the other to deserve 1 star review.
Short review - pathetic food (not Chinese in anyway), unethical business practices, though the ambience is decent.
Long review - I have never eaten Chinese in my life with whole cloves and cardamom in it. After having this pathetic tasting food, he presented us with bill alongwith a condition, pay only by cash or i will take 10 percent of your bill value over and above the invoice in cash, when i asked why?
His response, all places take 10 percent cash if you swipe card, i said i m in Izmir for last 15 days no outlet charged me this way.
His 1st switch - Chinese and fish restaurant do this, i replied i have been to fish restaurants noone charged this.
His 2nd switch - only big restaurants do this not small outlets. I replied i am referring to seafood restaurants on marina.
His 3rd switch - only Chinese restaurants do this. I gave him the cash.
Final nail in the coffin - knowingly he tried to sneak in ripped off cash bills glued with tape to me, when i called him out on this... shamelessly he said no problem we always take such bills if you don't want i can give you the other one.

I ordered sweet and sour chicken, vegetable dish and a beef in black bean sauce + soda and a cold tea, and of course the bill was too pricy for what it was…
Sweet and sour chicken was probably the best out of these three, but at times a little too stringy.
Beef in black bean sauce, I asked to remove the chilly peppers, and it ended up being a little blunt. I definitely couldn’t taste the black bean sauce, it was mostly garlicky and salty with a little bit of sweetness.
The vegetable dish with a tofu and mushrooms - nothing special.
I probably wouldn’t come back, but if you’re in a need of trying something new or breaking your typical food routines - worth it! 😊

Read moreI ordered the chef speciality dish 'chicken in hot sauce' and some beef rice. The rice didn't have much beef in it and it turned into one of the most nerve wracking meals I've ever had. My first mouth full was full of bones and one that I would have choked to death on (see pic) and then I almost broke my tooth on a piece of grit. Yes, grit as in stone. I gave up trying to get the meat off the skin and bone. It seemed like the chef's speciality is to try and do as much damage as possible! I told my waiter all of this and he came back with a 150 Turkish lira discount. Laughable. Also I had 1 tissue to deal with everything during the meal and then at the end I got a plateful!!...
