Don't go. This old man who mumbles few words in English used to work in the restaurant down the road near roundabout. He was well known for ripping tourists off and he is doing the same here now. I know this restaurant for years since it was located on the other side of the road and it was one of the most pleasant restaurants in Izmir. Not anymore. DO NOT EAT HERE Read the review first he tries to scam foreigners by offering to try everything then hits you with a almost 700 TL bill for one plate with a bit of everything. I paid him 400 TL which is still a scam you can buy a whole rotisserie chicken beside him for 120-160TL depending on the location. Unfortunately I made the mistake of eating before reading the reviews and he pulled the same stunt - putting 'extras' on the table then charging an extortionate amount. Shame because the food was quite nice and he could have a full restaurant with happy and repeat customers instead of an empty restaurant with one unhappy...
