Stepping into Murano’s Kitchen in Izmir is like being transported to a culinary paradise. Their authentic Italian cuisine is an absolute delight, with standout dishes like the creamy Burrata with Parma ham, a perfectly executed Carbonara, the richly flavored Parmigiana, and a Tiramisu that’s simply out of this world. Each bite was a testament to Italian culinary excellence.
The home-made Limoncello, offered as a complimentary treat, was the cherry on top of an already unforgettable dining experience. It’s these thoughtful gestures that set Murano’s apart.
The ambiance? Pure romance and serenity. My wife and I, enjoying a kid-free weekend, were captivated by the beautiful decor, the stunning table setup, and the overall peaceful vibe of the place. It was the perfect backdrop for a romantic evening.
Service at Murano’s is where the real magic happens. Onur Bey, the Manager, and his team provide an exemplary standard of service that’s rare to find. Attentive, professional, yet incredibly warm, they made us feel like royalty from the moment we stepped in until our departure.
In short, Murano’s Kitchen is more than just a meal; it’s an experience that celebrates the finer things in life: great food, exceptional service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s a standard that will be hard to match elsewhere. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates the art of...
Read moreThe service in this cafe is terrible, the food, in principle, too. The waiter did not come to us for a long time, since it was clear from our appearance that we were foreigners and as it turned out later, none of the waiters spoke English, although the menu with Italian names, in Turkish and English. The cafe positions itself as Italian, with Italian dishes. Ordered lasagne with balanese sauce, Melfei dessert and coffee latte. The lasagna was brought to us for a very long time, but when our order was brought in, the portion was large, but the top was burnt crust and inside there was a lot of tomato sauce with tomato paste (which tasted very sour) balaniese sauce was not felt at all. Lasagna is far from tasty. Then they completely forgot about dessert and coffee latte and for a well-known reason (no English speaking waiters) no one came to us and were clearly ignored. As a result, they brought coffee latte and already resigned themselves to the fact that they had also forgotten about the dessert, having almost finished the coffee latte, which is very bitter and almost without foam, we bring Melfei dessert, in which dry shavings of dough, not tasty cream, the only thing that was edible in the dessert it's a strawberry. Awful place! Not...
Read moreI ordered a tomato and mozzarella salad (caprese, with buffalo mozzarella) as an appetizer and a Prosiutto di Parma pizza. The first caprese I received had a very good buffalo mozzarella on it. Unfortunately, the tomatoes on it were totally sour (like sour milk, not unripe tomatoes. The consistency was also like a jam). When I complained about this, I was given a new plate. In contrast to the first plate, this one was served in a totally listless manner. What's more, it no longer had buffalo mozzarella on it, but some kind of hard cow's milk mozzarella. I was asked if it was good now. I replied that it was fine, but that it was no longer buffalo mozzarella. The waiter said that wasn't true, he said it was buffalo mozzarella. I disagreed, but decided against a third attempt, as my pizza was already on its way. The pizza itself was okay. No more and no less. I was still charged the full price for the caprese (450 lira) and, as the icing on the cake, when we didn't give them a tip, they told us that they hadn't included it in the bill (so they still expected a tip despite everything). I feel like I've been taken for a ride. Definitely not an experience I...
