Stepping into Murano’s Kitchen in Izmir is like being transported to a culinary paradise. Their authentic Italian cuisine is an absolute delight, with standout dishes like the creamy Burrata with Parma ham, a perfectly executed Carbonara, the richly flavored Parmigiana, and a Tiramisu that’s simply out of this world. Each bite was a testament to Italian culinary excellence. The home-made Limoncello, offered as a complimentary treat, was the cherry on top of an already unforgettable dining experience. It’s these thoughtful gestures that set Murano’s apart. The ambiance? Pure romance and serenity. My wife and I, enjoying a kid-free weekend, were captivated by the beautiful decor, the stunning table setup, and the overall peaceful vibe of the place. It was the perfect backdrop for a romantic evening. Service at Murano’s is where the real magic happens. Onur Bey, the Manager, and his team provide an exemplary standard of service that’s rare to find. Attentive, professional, yet incredibly warm, they made us feel like royalty from the moment we stepped in until our departure. In short, Murano’s Kitchen is more than just a meal; it’s an experience that celebrates the finer things in life: great food, exceptional service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s a standard that will be hard to match elsewhere. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates the art of fine dining.

Main thing- food was delicious! Beautiful interior. Management, if you read this, tell your staff that if they bring anything to the table that has to be charged- they have to let customers know about it (in our case, waiter poured water without asking us and then I found water in a bill). Then plz, we have chosen your afternoon tea but the price is not mentioned in a menu. We asked how much is it and waiter or a manager (guy was in a blue suit) said “let me check it”. Seriously… staff doesn’t know the prices of your lunch offer? And BTW he said it is 900 but in a bill it is 950. When the other waiter came to us and we said that we want to have afternoon tea, he said “ok! With 2 Prosecco”. But we told him plz bring the aperol, and his face was like he has never heard about even the existence of Aperol spritz. You have service charge by default included in a bill. Why? I didn’t want to leave this amount of tips. When I asked if it is possible to remove it the answer was “sorry it is already included to the whole bill”.

My experience at this lively quasi-Italian restaurant was mixed. I say quasi, because while the menu uses all the right labels for dishes, the ingredients of the dishes I was exposed to were not necessarily Italian. That said, the salad my friend that I shared was super delicious and huge. The zucchini gnocchi I returned to the kitchen was barely edible. It had a bizarre texture and almost no flavor at all. In addition, the chicken melanesa plate was ridiculous. Just a pile of salad next to a thin, small piece of dry breaded chicken breast. It seems to me that this restaurant truly needs to reinvent the recipes it uses in their attempt to recreate authentic Italian food. They would be doing everyone a favor, including themselves.

Herkese tavsiye ediyorum.

It was my first visit to Izmir and after searching on best restaurants there, we decided to give Murano’s a try. Looking at the photos, you might imagine amazing italian taste. However that was not the case at all. The bruschetta had unriped avocado, the ravioli was OKAY but the pizza was uneatable, it was rancid and tasted badly. I was kind of disappointed and had expected much better food.

the food was great, however medium meat was cooked well done, now i definitely know in Turkey i have to say rare to get medium, also the meat was cooked unevenly, they should tie a string to prevent that. Otherwise, one of the better restaurants I have been to in Turkey, the service is spectacular. Definitely should order the Tiramisu and Risotto was also cooked to perfection.
