Topçu Restaurant — Restaurant in Konak

So far, I have ordered 5 times. 4 out of 5 was not good. The very first time I ordered ezogelin soup, lahmacun and cop sis kebab. They were all good. Hot and tasty. The second time, I order same soup and lahmacun. I got food poison from the soup. Because I ate lahmacun first and after 5 hours I had the soup. 3rd time I ordered kusbasili kasarli pide.. I got food poison again, because the meats were under cooked. 4th time I ordered only lahmacun. It was fine. 5th time I ordered 2 desert and I specifically asked about what was in one of the desert. They gave me wrong information. When I called them, they didn't even bother to resend the correct version of the desert. So far I only enjoyed lahmacun. This place is like lottery. Mostly loose, a few winning. They sound and act very polite at the phone, and the package of the food was nice. But unfortunately the foods are hits or miss. I will never order again. Especially after paying outrageous price...

When ever we come to Izmir this is the place I always look forward Coming. I was very sad to see it was been renovated and look forward the opening day. We had baity my wife had kaşar pide. I Must say from time we sit down I had the feeling things has changed Every single waiter looks like it was their last day. I have never had a experience that people looked like they hate their job. Except the guy who clean our table. Started we choose a table then it was windy he said “I told you guys “. Second we were rush to order. Same guy. You need to order quick since baity takes too long. Then I was suggested a irmik helvasi with ice cream came broken and runny I told the different waiter he said when you order with ice cream of course it will be sweet like it is my fault. What is happening here. Why these people are so angry. Managers you need to know you represent a Tarihi location we bring our guests and show them our hospitality. I am done...

Had a wonderful family dinner here! We’ve lived in Turkey before and were looking for traditional Turkish grilled meats and staple dishes. Service was very attentive, outside was comfortable even in 90+F heat but we opted for inside with air conditioning. Every person enjoyed their meal - köfte, sis kebab, mixed grill were delicious, lamacun and kisarli pide just what we expected and the lentil soup was divine. Generous portions.
