Almost feels like we got a tailored receipt based on the massive mark up they made for common nearby retail fish prices and that the waiter was very hesitant to share the product receipt after i had paid. 😳 For example they charged us 1575tl/48€ a kilo for local sea bream (Cupra) which goes for 279tl/8€ at other fish retail markets in Antalya. That’s five times more here supposedly. And then they charged 2400tl/68€ for speckled shrimp (cil karides) which goes for between 500-1000tl/14€-28€ at other Antalya retail fish markets. Service didn’t bring butter with the bread, which is good I guess when you pay 295tl/10€ (kuvar) for waiter service but then asking for it and them not mentioning they’ll charge 160tl/5€ for a small piece is quite disappointing behavior. Service members were fast and attentive and service minded though but given this pricing and not mentioning hidden charges like the butter and also water and the overall heavy mark ups only in the aftermath (note to self: ALWAYS ask kilo price before especially when they had zero price labels) they get one star for omitting pretty considerate information to share. Quite surprised the place has 2000 mostly positive reviews given the experience and the lack of price transparency upfront and leaving it to the end of the bill. Only the side dishes appetizers felt...
Read moreWent to this place based on reference, and I have to say it was one of the best fish restaurants I have ever eaten. Fish is very fresh and cooked very well. You can choose the fish you want to eat from the shelf if you want. We got Balikci Salatasi, and it was very well made. Mezzes were also good. Only shortcoming is their Raki selection, if you are a drinker, they did not have my favourite brand. One thing you have to try is their dessert, Firinda Helva, the best that I have ever had. Some other comments say prices are high, but I would say they are even cheaper than other places in Istanbul or touristic destinations in Eagean with similar quality or service. Our bill except the alcohol was sth like 350 TL for 4 people, we each had one grilled fish, 4 mezzes, 1 salad and dessert. If you drink like me, you will pay more based on...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at this incredible Turkish fish restaurant, and I must say—it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The staff was attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about the food they serve.
The seafood was nothing short of outstanding—fresh, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried, from the grilled sea bass to the meze starters, was bursting with authentic flavors. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into each recipe.
The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, with a charming atmosphere that added to the whole experience. Whether you’re a seafood lover or simply looking to try something new, this place is a must-visit.
Highly recommended—we will definitely be...
