haha... I saw some of the comments and I am glad that I did not consider the negative comments. For example, a 4tl water is normal these days. This is both cafe and restaurant, with really good food and average costs. Throughout the past several years, since they opened, they have humbly increased their prices, despite the incessant inflation. Several nights a week, they comfort my soul, bringing my soup, and sometimes special made lahmucan, to my door. They still maintain values that seem outdated nowadays, like making even a fairly priced soup an entire meal- they serve with two fluffy, warm pieces of firin prepared pita bread, side of lemon. I always stay away from the drink menu at any restraunt because that is just not where you find value, i think locals and Turks can expect this and figure it into their budgets. RECENTLY, a friend of mine from Germany came to the neighborhood to visit his mother. He was the one that discovered this cafe has free wifi connection and incredibly professional staff and sweet staff. So, over the past week, while local construction interrupted my electric service, this cafe, who has their own generator, saved my day. Two days in the past week I have sat all day, for hours, where they allowed me to sit in a comfotable corner, order my meals and drinks, coffee and sofa, and not worry about being in the way, even when the place started to get crowded. On top of that, I lost my debit card, so I was not having cash on me the whole times. They did not rush me so that I had to stand in line at the bank. They let me leave and take care of my pets at home, finish my work before getting up to take money, and then pay my bill. This is one of the only places where the food quality meets expectation and their menu options of world food is not overpriced. I personally recommend their Ezogelin soup, all of their salads, their crepes, and their wraps- all my favorite selections. I was one of the people whose worlds were completely disrupted when Covid started, and its been really nice having place where I feel appreciated, even when they are only delivering to my door. In all my years of ordering from this cafe, I have only had to have my order replaced ONE time, and thats because they brought the wrong soup. This is a family cafe with a place for kids and an open patio where they currently have fans blowing soft mist to cool and refresh their guests during this scorching summer, this place deserves...
Read moreStaff mostly specially the middle age gray hair manager was very rude and answer your questions by attacking you, I asked if the forget dolma was the meat filled one, he said yes but was filled with rice with tiny bit of meat! Their tea supposed to be complementary but unlike other places that they offer you happily straight after food this place avoid giving it until you ask and when you ask and say thank you the waitress almost throws at you, The atmosphere is dark, obstinate with stuffy air. Rare in Turkey but l can say was the worst unwelcome place...
Read moreWriting my review 1,5 week after my visit. The place is in my mind because of amazing service, smiling stuff and very delicious food, everything done with care and my requests about my preferences were accepted. The waiting time was quite reasonable, because of many cooks working in the kitchen. Prices were good too. I wish the place will get more visitors in the future. Hope the food will stay same...
