Nejat Balık — Restaurant in Muratpaşa

Location is superb. Unfortunately, the food and even worse service let's this place down.

Start with the food. We had crab legs as part of our starter. This is simply crab sticks (yes - those crab sticks) in olive oil. Then had prawns in garlic and butter and mushrooms. Pretty standard with no real flavour to the prawns unfortunately. Mains where the 2 specials - the Nejit special had a really good sauce but the veg was pretty tasteless (I'm not convinced they were freshly grilled - hope I'm wrong).

Service - so so disappointing. When one of our plates looked like it was finished - it was immediately taken leaving the other to carry on - really made us feel like we were being rushed. Zero communication from the waiter as well. I'm not at all bothered filling my own wine glass up - but there was zero service or attention around either the food and drink/wine - I think its probably the first restaurant that did not ask one question/query on how anything (food, drink) was that then charge you what they do. After our main was finished - again zero communication around offering dessert or tea/Coffee so we asked for bill (which was £105 for 2).

There was a large group of about 20 people in the restaurant (who came in after us) - so whether this was where the attention and concern was I dont know.

However - The location does an incredible amount of heavy lifting here. Pretty average food and really disappointing and subpar service. I wouldn't recommend unfortunately. Much better food and definitely better service in the area.

I visited this place while I was in Antalya I wanted to have fish I’ve done my research this came up, you are greeted by the fish display as you walk in, the table we had was with sea scenery and was fantastic! the waiter who served us was very knowledgeable and helpful and I enjoyed the place! it was reasonably priced for someone like me visiting from abroad. Starters,salads and the sea bass fish I had I can honestly say was one of the best I have ever...

The food was mediocre, the view and atmosphere were wonderful but the service was disappointing.

They were busy and brought some mains a half hour before the rest, we spent most our time there waiting on them rather than being waited on.

On top of this we had two kids who weren’t well accommodated for, as there wasn’t even a children’s menu.
