Read moreTilly’s is a new little Ribs place in Entebbe. The vibe you get when you walk in is that of a tiki bar. It’s an open lawn with a mature garden do there’s lots of trees and flowers. If you sit outside there is a little bar and picnic tables. The ground isn’t even so some of these tables are not very comfy but it’s a relaxing and quiet place otherwise. The seats are definitely very hard so ask for a cushion.
Inside is your regular type Ugandan bar that once an old colonial house. There’s a pool table and a little seating. Music is much louder inside. Bathrooms as well.
The food is good although my friend who took me said the quality isn’t consistent. Sometimes it’s fantastic and sometimes it’s just okay. The bar tender is also very friendly and patient.
Negatives; basic Ugandan carpentry so picnic tables are not very comfy, bathroom doors don’t close limited drink options (this is for people who drink. If you like, the higher ends liquors or even just a good dry wine, it may be easier, faster and cheaper to buy and bring your own and just pay corkage.)
Positives -Delicious food!! If you live American flavored fork right this is a good place to check out. The buffalo tenders are spicy with a good kick! My fav was the barbecue chicken. And oh, the fries were divine. If you like thick cut, seasoned fries this is the place to go! friendly staff. The staff were very friendly, super patient and willing to meet us halfway when it came to making a great experience there. great ambiance! It’s a really relaxed vibe. Music wasn’t too loud outside. Just a super chilled place to have a great meal and drink with your people
Overall, it’s a great place. I Hope more customers come so the owner can invest a little more in the place, get better outdoor chairs and fix the...
Read moreI'm so disappointed with the management of this place because there's quite a lot that needs to be done. The waitresses are so slow, the toilets are not enough for the customers; you basically need to line up to pee. The beers are a bit expensive for a place without enough washrooms. I angrily left after I waited for over 30 minutes for someone to get me a machine so I could pay with my visa card and have more beers. If you walk in without cash on you and you're expecting to use a visa card or MOMO pay, then you're likely to get disappointed.
On the other side, the DJ was good, loved the music and their food is amazing. I loved the fries and...
