This was a pleasant surprise! Tapas is a spacious high-roofed space, with sufficient gap between their many tables. Their interior design is simple, European and elegant in a pleasant way. The furniture is comfortable and modern. There's a strip that let's in natural sunlight, but it's also covered with a semi-transparent roof so it won't let the rain in. The food was very good! Despite the menu not really being "tapas", the items we ordered was delicious. Their menu has a lot of the standard fare from other popular Ugandan restaurants, but they're priced about 20-25% higher. The service is slightly iffy, possibly because our waitress was very young. But on the whole, we have no complaints. Tapas has got their own parking slots outside - that's a great thing in crowded kampala! The security staff at the entrance were meticulous, yet efficient. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Where to start!!! Tapas is such a cute little place, I say little because it's not grand and huge inside, but whoever made it, definitely made good use of that place! Let's start with the music!! On point 10 outta 10. It was my first time there and I had braised pork ribs, potato wedges and a virgin mojito. My friend had a chicken wrap and a cocktail and yeap!!! It was worth it. Prices are extremely fair , super affordable. The environment is nice, the location is equally good, and not hard to navigate. Generally I love it and yeap, it has been added to my favorite spots. I'll be coming back soon. Can't enjoy it just oncešŸ˜‚. A must visit for my foodiesā˜ŗļø oh and it was Kampala restaurant weekšŸ™ƒ one of the best times to check out beautiful restaurants around town.

The place is really cute. The decor is really gorgeous. I was surrounded by amazing people. The service was impeccable. The food. Hmm. I was told the food is usually good and maybe it was because there was a full house. I didn't like the food at all. I was really disappointed. I had porkchops with fries. The star is for the fries. I would go back again and try something else, it's too early to judge. The place is generally really cool.

It was my first time coming to Tapas last Saturday for ā€œbrunchā€. But I can say, the service is poor, you have to wait long for food, though the food was ok. But what I really totally didn’t appreciate was the hostess’s attitude (think she was called Allen), imagine asking her to help take pictures of us, and her replying, ā€œI don’t take pictures ā€œ rudely minus even looking at me. I mean there are places you go to and indeed the waitresses tell you they are not allowed to take pictures which is really understandable but for this one’s case, she just doesn’t take pictures (which can also be put across politely). Please have people who know what customer service means!!! So much for...
